I'm really sorry about the over two months delay I've just been so busy. I'm going to try to add another chapter later this week but I might not be able to.

I've always known my mother to be a drama queen but at this moment I really didn't expect what I saw. The vicar who had just taken the wedding was standing with a gun in his hand and pointing it at his head.
"What are you doing?" Most people shouted whilst others looked at Thomas and just screamed at him "what are you going to do?" Another shot went off before he either was able to reply causing a silence amongst everyone.
"One other person knows the reason for this but soon more people will know." Everyone just stared shocked and bewildered at the fact he wasn't going to tell anyone his reasons "I would prefer it to be a longer time before more of you found out as I would rather keep the queen to be alive rather than dead!" At this I'm not entirely sure what happened next as I kind of fainted.

When the nurse woke me up I could hear people outside rushing around getting things for people. Of course I heard the voice of my lovely mother who was surprisingly calm considering her usual emotions don't stay under control. After the nurse did the usual checks she walked out without saying a word. A second later a doctor came in with Thomas and my mother. "Hello Charlotte I'm Doctor Amy and I'll be treating you today. Do you remember anything that happened?" Everyone just stared at me whilst I began recalling the painful memories to myself.
"Is the vicar okay?"
"Yes he is fine why?" Amy replied while writing things down in a tiny notebook
"Oh he was standing outside before I fainted with a gun to his..." I stopped and started to cry, I don't know why though as I'm not an emotional person.
"Do you want to continue?" Amy asked although I wasn't listening anymore I had moved onto think about the fact that neither my mother nor Thomas had said anything since they came in.
"I think we should leave her for now" Thomas said quickly and before I knew it everyone had left.

Outside Charlotte's room
"Do you think she'll be okay doctor Amy?" Thomas said for his mother in law
"Yes she'll be fine things like this happen all of the time to people." She started to walk off but then spun around quickly as if she had forgotten something and in this case she had. "Oh before I go I would like to ask you about what Charlotte was about to tell me" Amy said it in such a demanding tone as if she already knew the answer but wanted to know the whole story in detail.
"Well" Thomas began slowly "there is one thing that she could be talking about" He stopped again as if he needed time to make up an answer.
"Just spit it out Thomas I know the real story I want to know the reason. I know you're the guy that the vicar told his reasons to because he's in the room nearby and told me his dying wish was to have you locked up for the things you had done. He also said you are the reason why he thought about this for so long" Thomas took a step back as if this was new news to him
"I would watch who you blame for things Missy because soon I'll be the king of this dreadful place and no one will be able to stop me!" And with that she ran away.

Back at the castle

"Mum?"
"Yes Charlotte"
"You know what she priest said before I you know... Fainted?"
"Yes go on I don't have all day you know"
"Fine. I don't suppose you know who he told do you?"
"Well... Yes I do but..."
"Go on mother" I said as I squeezed her hand tightly as if I was giving her my strength to tell me what she knows.
"Well I would love to hear this story too but I need a chat with Charlotte right now" Usually I would have demanded that he waited but Thomas said it with such force and the evilness in his tone and eyes convinced me that agreeing would be the only option if I didn't want to get hurt.
After my mother left the room he sat down right next to me. Maybe too close for comfort in this circumstance. "So what did you want to talk to me so badly about that you couldn't wait for my mother and I to finish our conversation"
"Shut up Charlotte and just let me talk" I was going to argue but I hadn't seen Thomas in this kind of mood and I didn't really want to be at the end of the outcome."Charlotte you know that I love you and that I would do anything to keep you safe?" I didn't want to speak just in case he yelled at me again so I just nodded. "Well after what the priest said I would rather you to be alive than dead too"
"I would hope so" I said giggling and hoping that his mood would lighten up a little bit.
"This is not a laughing matter Charlotte" Well that didn't go that great.
"Fine what do you want?"
"I want to take you away... Somewhere secret so nobody knows where we are not even your mother. I'm only doing this because I don't trust anyone right now. Well nobody but you!"
I would have said something but Thomas swooped me into a kiss. A hesitant kiss but it's still the first kiss I've had from him since our wedding. It didn't feel as fiery as the kisses that I've had from him but a kiss was a kiss right?
"Where do you plan to take me?"
"For now it is a secret for even myself Charlotte" I said nothing after that and just say there in silence thinking of all of the things that have happened recently and all of the things that could happen in the future. I just sat there until I finally fell asleep thinking about the beautiful places that he could be taking me.

Obviously this wasn't a very well written as it's really just a filler but you can still vote, comment and share to your hearts delight! Also if you have any suggestions for characters I would love to hear them xx
