Tamlins POV
My head was bursting with confusion. Boys, Dawn had boy friends. It doesn't matter how old those three are I still don't trust them. They're boys after all. The thought of Dawn even liking a boy. What the hell would I do about that? I couldn't very well hunt down the kid. Even if I wanted to.
Just then Lucien walked in. "What's eating at you?"⁰
"Lucien how do you feel about boys?"
" You're gonna have to be a tad more spesific Tamlin. I am apart of the male population.."
" Dawn made some new friends."
" Oh." Lucien said as he was playing with his knife.
" Their boys!" Lucien stopped twirling his knife his eye looking at Tamlin.
"Okay, so when do you need me to assassinate them?"
" I'm serious Lucien!"
"So am I. I have my contacts it'll be too easy to make them dissappear"
"Their just kids. For now! Ahhh, their coming by tomorrow. Dawn invited them."
" Without asking you?"
" Oh, no her informing them was her asking me apparently. Why can't she just have normal girl friends?"
" Those are the questions we ask ourselves. Why does this happen ,why doesn't that, why?."
" You thinking about Elain?"
" Yup. "
"So she still not talking to you."
" Nope." Lucien said rubbing his hands and giving Tamlin the look.
" Fine I'll drop the topic."
Tamlin said as there was a knock on the door.
" Uncle Luca!!!!!"Dawn screamed as she ran to him and jumped into his arms.
" Wow, Dawn your getting so big."
She eyed him suspiciously. " You calling me fat."
" What, never!"
" I would suggest looking in the mirror Uncle but I fear you might not have any."
" How come?"
"Your face broke them all."Lucien acted shocked and I tried my best to suppres my smile. This was their thing. Their little ongoing war.
Lucien started tickling Dawn and she tried to jump loose from his arm but, she was a lump of jelly. Her giggles and shouts uncontrollable until Lucien dumped her on the the couch.
"Daddy did you see that."
"Lucien are you pestering my little rosebud?"
" Pfff, she's no rosebud. More like a ruffian." Lucien said as he ruffled her hair.
She glared at Lucien before Tackling him again.
" Ohh, I'm down it's ugly." He wined as Dawn started jumping on him. And then layed flat on top of his stomach.
" You sure you're not a ruffian?"He said with his sly smile.
" Well, if I'm the ruffian. Then you can be the thug and then we can terrorise Maura together." She said as she hugged Lucien still laying on the ground.
" This kid is evil Tamlin. She's gonna make me cry."
" I'll really make you cry if you don't stop teaching Dawn how to act like a hooligan. " Maura said smiling at Lucien with a wooden spoon in her hand.
