" But it's not fair!" I winned
" Dawn come back here and put on that damn dress!!!" Maura screamed chasing after her.
" You can't make me! You'll never catch me alive!"
" It's just a dress and it's punishment for burning my curtains." Maura said as she tried to grab Dawn. Bit, the little rascle jumped off rhe bed.
" I thought we agreed that Uncle Lucien got to take credit for that." Dawn crossed her arms glaring at Maura
" We did. But, an acomplis also gets the punishment for the crime."
" So are we in negotiations?"
" Ow we're long past negotiations. The dress Dawn...now!"
" But, it looks redonkeylous!"
" I think you mean ridiculous. "
" No, I mean redonkeylous!! As in a retart donkey that is too lousy to separate its Eee from the Ohhh."
" Dawn."
"The boys are coming over. And there is no way I'm letting them see me in ... that."
Famous last words. I would've escape. But, the measures Mauea took to get me in a dress! It was so unfair. Completely ubsurt. Wearing a dress for a week was.... well, it was what it was. But, threatening me to ban me from riding Daenarys. That was plain cruel. I'd have to suffer the scrutinizing eyes of the boys. If Levi dared to laugh at me he'd be the first to be smacked in the face. And then I'd turn him into pigfood.
And Felix. Don't get me started on him. But, the show must go on. Maby I could fake my death. Escape through the window. Tho I'm fairly surtain Maura would deliberately die just to haunt my ghost and drag my bum right back here.
" Dawn, their here."Maura said as she re-emerged.
" Cauldron boil me alive."
" Don't say that! You know people have been boiled alive by that thing."
" Yes, yes you've told me so."
I walked down the haul. My feet using any bit of obstruction my feet would offer. I once again gave Maura a pleading look. Damn, this woman was made of steel. She didn't even yield one bit.
" Now I'll be darned. There is a girl under there after all."
" Shut it redhead!" I barked at Felix.
" Now Dawn that's not how civilized people talk."
" Well, then it's a good thing she's not civilized." Levi whispered to Sam.
" You wanna say that to the group Levi?"Maura said staring at the boy with her hands folded.
" Crash and burn. " I mumbled.
Maura just gave an amused smileLevi's eyes were wide as he took in Maura." You know my name?" He said and I could have sworn I heard a bit of hesitation in his voice. Interesting.
" I know many things boy. Now apologize. "
" Sorry fluff ball." Levi said to me and I had to admire him for his guts.
" You better be stupe."
" Dawn! That's enough now."But, I was already rolling up my sleeves ready for a fight.
" Okay, now calm down you two. Let's go get the horses ready. " Sam said as he interupted us.
" Race ya."
" Don't you....Levi!!!"I screamed as I sprinted after him almost tripping over my dress. But I grabbed his leg and he fell. I ran but he grabbed my dress and my feet were knocked out from under me.
I layed there trying to get up over all the layers of the dress.
" I bet you wish you weren't wearing that right about now." He said giving me a sly smile.
I was about to open my mouth when he held out a hand." Well, are you gonna get up or what?"
I glared at hit growling but I took his hand. We all walked to the stables when I saw dad. He'd already saddled up 4 horses but only led Daenarys with a rope.
" Wow." Levi said next to me. " Now that's what I call a horse.
I rolled my eyes and went to hug my dad. I always felt safe in his arms. And I always would. I heared a little growl and turned my head to where the boys were standing. Was dad growling at them. Message recieved I guess.
Territorial fae male's.
I jumped on Dae with a little help from Dad
We took off riding and even tho dad left us go along I knew he'd be trailing us just for incase.
We went into the woods and tho I knew it wasn't safe I also couldn't help myself from going in there.
Levi was at my side with Felix and Sam behind us.
Daenarys's went as still as death. Even Levi's mount stilled.
There stood a woman with Ice blue eye's and platinum hair. The smile she gave me made me want to scatter off.
Felix and Sam came closer giving me a warning look. She walked closer and that was when I saw the stone. Priestess. She was a priestess.
"Now what ever are you kid's doing here all alone in these woods? All alone"
She said prowling closer."They're not alone." I wipped my head around seeing dad stalking closer. I have never been happier to see him.
"Well, I'd be damned. If it isn't the fuzzball himself. " She said giving dad a sly smile.
"From what I heard Tamlin it seems you've lost your touch with the ladies. Who was she again. Ahh.... Fey"
"Don't you even think about breathing another word."
"It's such a shame. Ianthe was convinced she'd be more than the high priestess of the spring court. Imagine her surprise when she learned it was occupied by a former human."
She said walking closer. " If you take another step towards my daughter I will ensure that your reunited with her soon enough." Dad growled as he walked closer to the horses. Levi looked to me worried. But, even I didn't know what was going on.
The priestess laughed. As she ran a hand over her stone. "Daughter, oh humor me Tamlin how did this come to be." Dad took the reins.
"Dawn I want you and the boys to get back immediately. " Dad said as he stepped forward.
She let out a low laugh. " And here I was thinking she was my niece. "
