Chapter 4: New Squad, New Problems

*3 Days later*
John wanders towards the elevator where he meets Squad 141, a new squad. He shoots a saddened look at everyone.

Private Sam's POV:
"Why are you looking at me WarEye?"

Sam seems puzzled that John stares at him in a saddened or depressed mood.

John's POV:
"Your Squad stirred up the Ghostfoxes and Hazzy's in their hangout hub, killed many..."

Lieutenant John's POV:
"WarEye, we were sent to investigate a dissapearnce and then they attempted to transfur Private Sam and held him hostage."

Sergeant Amelia's POV:
"And then they attempted to mislead us to start a full-on war with the Plantix's and Figs by chopping down their tree."

Private Mark stares at John suspiciously, not understanding why he is so important.

They all arrive and walk towards thr Hangout. During their journey, they encountered a Protogen near the elevator from which they came. The Lieutenant scared it off and they carried on.

John's POV:
"Alright, Lieutenant and Sergeant, guard the exterior access of the hangout while the two privates guard the interior access to the hangout. Got it?"

Squad 141:
"Got it. "

They secure the access to the hangout and John walks up to a Ghostfox who seems to run the hangout.

Ghostfox's POV:
"Hello John, why did you bring these murderers?"

The Ghostfox seems angry at Squad 141, John seemingly sees some injured Hazzy's and Ghostfoxes in the corner of the room.

John's POV:
"Listen, i saw the death and injured toll and it was nasty. But listen, War will only cause more deaths for a needless cause of Revenge. I'm sorry for your losses but Revenge is a fool's game and will cost unnecessary deaths that could have been prevented."

The Ghostfox ponders on the response before delivering his response.

Ghostfoxe's POV:
"Alright, but this is the last time you hear?"

John nods his head before shaking hands (or paws for the Ghostfox) to finalise the deal.

John turns around and sees Private Sam talking to a peaceful Hazzy before being shocked by a sobbing Ghostfox coming from Private Mark's direction.

John's POV:
"What's wrong? Are you hurt?"

John swiftly and carefully checks the Ghostfox's body for wounds. John doesn't see any wounds and overhears a Hazzy mentioning the Ghostfoxe's name as 'SpiritSpark'

SpiritSpark's POV:
"I'm not hurt but that human mentioned a 'Caleb'. I have heard this name before but, *sob* it feels familiar, like I have seen a dream of a certain Caleb, but *sob* I don't understand it. "

John's POV:
"You may have been that Caleb but you transfurred into a Ghostfox. Sorry that you didn't realise it earlier"

SpiritSpark's POV:
"So I have been living a lie about my life this entire time?"

John slowly nods his head, the Ghostfox burst into tears, crying into John's shoulder while trying to not apply too much pressure.

John looked at a Hazzy and told her to take care of SpiritSpark.

John's POV:
"Take care of him, he will experience a midlife crisis but it has to do with his past life, help him would you?"

Hazzy's POV:
"Sure. Me and him have been friends for a while"

John's POV:
"Thanks, he needs someone who can understand him"

SpiritSpark walks towards the Hazzy, sobbing and crying, while the Lieutenant comes in, signalling the others it's time to go back to HQ.

The others calmly leave and John waves goodbye to the Gootraxians before leaving the area, returning back to HQ to report how the mission went.

They ventured into the Elevator and pressed the button to return back to HQ.

Private Sam's POV:
"WarEye, what happend with that Gootraxian?"

Sam asked curiously and worried about that Gootraxian.

John's POV:
"They almost lost all their memories of their life as a human. It's like a Severe Midlife Crisis with symptons of Depression and sometimes PTSD Flashbacks of their last momments as a human. "

Sam looked horrified at this response. Hopping that he never becomes a Gootraxian. They arrive at HQ to report this Mission.
