Anthony, Toffee and John continue chatting about various things before another topic is mentioned from another table.
Anthony's POV:
"Wait. Ain't Squad 141 that recently fallen group?"
John looks up and elaborates onto the situation.
John's POV:
"Yeah. I worked alongside them on a recent mission a while back. Lieutenant Johnny or John for short was the first to fall. He transfurred into a Nightshade after defending his squad from an ambush in the Administration area during a Blackout. Sergeant Amelia was the second to fall transfurred into a Kawaii Shork during an ambush in the Flooded Zone during a Power Outrage. Private Sam was the second last to fall during a Blackout. He got transfurred into a Nightcralwer as a part of some Revenge plan from another nightcrawler. Private Mark was the last to fall. After Private Sam got transfurred, that nightcrawler sent panthers to kill Private Mark. He ran and entered into the Flooded Zone and fell into the water, he later emerged as a Lantern Shork. Their weapons were experimental but weak, a theory that HC came up with"
Anthony's POV:
"How the hell do you know all this?"
Toffee's goo ears perked up to hear John's response.
John's POV:
"I watched the footage on their Helmet Cams. Me and the HC of Engineering were tasked with overseeing this project. Those poor souls. They were doomed from the very start"
Toffee's POV:
"So this how HC roles? Just come up with theories and get people killed or something similar?"
Both Anthony and Toffee looks at John.
Anthony's POV:
"Jeez. I hope my stuff ain't rigged"
John takes a deep breath. Before parting his lips to speak.
John's POV:
"Well. HC must test these theories if they are going to be beneficial to Humanity"
Toffee and Anthony seem satisfied. Anthony seems worried, worried that his equipmentay be rigged to be part of some theory. Toffee seems annoyed, probably at HC.
Anthony's POV:
"Well I got to go. My squad needs me at the Blockade 4-1"
Toffee and John wave Anthony goodbye.
Toffee's POV:
"Well. My boyfriend might need some help over there, see ya!"
Toffee waves goodbye at John we wanders out of the Cafeteria.
