One week later...
John wanders into the Cafeteria, being greeted by a friendly Mochi with a Strawberry Sprinklekit next to him.
Toffee's POV:
"Hello! Welcome back here John! I got someone special with me today"
Toffee points at the Strawberry Sprinklekit which he leans unto its shoulder.
Toffee's POV:
"This is my boyfriend! He helped me out so much here, after you helped me get a job here. His name is Berry. He is so sweet, no pun intended."
All three laugh at Toffee's remark.
Berry's POV:
"Sorry Toffee, I got to do some work over here, Abble's Orders. How about you hang out with John here?"
Toffee's POV:
"Hehe thanks. I will, besides I need rest"
Berry walks away as Toffee brews up John's favorite brew before heading down to a nearby table. They both sit down opposite of each other.
???'s POV:
"Can I sit here?"
John and Toffee look at the strangers direction to see a 5'7, Male LLDF Private. Toffee nods. The man sits down next to the Mochi.
John's POV:
"Your name?"
The Private stopped taking in the appearance of the Mochi before responding.
LLDF Private's POV:
"Anthony"
Anthony takes in the sight of Toffee, seemingly interested in seeing him.
Toffee notices this.
Toffee's POV:
"Uhh... why are you staring at me?"
Anthony notices this and looks away, flustered. Does he like Toffee? Or Mochi's?
Anthony's POV:
"Just never seen a Mochi, well a friendly gootraxian for the fact"
John knows that Anthony looked flustered and blushed earlier. But he keeps it to himself, Anthony saw the look on John's face and shaked his head slightly, John nods, giving Anthony a sigh of relief.
Anthony keeps eating his food while Toffee stares back at him, possibly trying to get a glimpse at his bf.
Anthony's POV:
"There's a thing I noticed when I walked into here"
Toffee and John look at him, interested in what he was going to say.
"Well... this is the only place I have seen where Gootraxians and Humans interact and act friendly, as if a magic forcefield shrouds this place"
John smiles slightly, seemingly liking his opinion.
Toffee's POV:
"Well, because of Abble, the owner, she is also the Mascot of Laminax Laboratories, as well a efficient survivor. She holds a lot of respect amongst the high ranking officials, including HC. Some say she is a experiement by the HC of Scientific Studies. Just a rumour you know? But everything else I said, it's what she told us"
Anthony stares at Toffee with a admired look. John presumes all th things he could think of if they were together.
Well... to a Mochi that is as smart as Toffee.
Toffee's POV:
"So yeah, it's a safe haven for both humans and Gootraxians"
Anthony's POV:
"Cool. Can we become friends? Like yout personality gives off a good friendship vibe."
John knows that's a lie, but a good one.
Toffee's POV:
"Sure! It would be nice to have another human friend, us gootraxians don't get much human friends"
Anthony's POV:
"I guess you could say the same about us humans"
John listens unto this conversation, seemingly interested in what direction this conversation could go.
