John wanders the halls of the Facility. It's seemingly eerie and quiet, it's devoid of life like as if space just assumed control here, melding into this section of Earth.
John's POV:
"Why is it so quie-"
Darkness consumes John...
Everything is dark....
Everything is dark....No light....No sight of anyone....
The Blackout makes everything devoid of life, it feels odd. The Halls are normally brimmed with a Midnight-like Party with Jammers. But, theur not here, no sound of distant fighting.... just emptiness and darkness....like space...
John notices a figure glowing purple, it emits three eyes and...
John's POV:
"Oh No"
The silence breaks with a heart-striking noise of a Nightcrawler charging, a nightcrawler charging torwards John.
John stands his ground amongst the darkness. The Figure gets closer and is moving faster.
The Nightcrawler swings his arm straight at John's face but John swiftly dodges its attack but doesn't retaliate.
The Nightcrawler growls in anger and aggressively and savagely throws punches and kicks but seemingly misses all attacks.
The Nightcrawler growls loudly in anger, the roar echoing amongst the empty hallways.
The Nightcrawler lunges at John with all its might but John just dodges out of the way, the lunge leaves a great crack I to the sturdy, concrete wall.
The Nightcrawler roars in pain but quickly dismisses it.
John's POV:
"Listen. I'm not here to hu-"
BANG!
The halls echoed. A gunshot just fired, hitting the wall. It's the LLDF.
"Kill the beast!" Yells one of the Soliders.
John shakes his head at the Nightcrawler as well performing hand movements that suggest that the Nightcrawler doesn't kill them. Somehow,the Nightcrawler understands and just nods before charging.
The Nightcrawler starts whizzing past bullets and begins to run on the left wall, as if physics work different for these strong reptiles, afterall, studying them has proven quite difficult.
The Nightcrawler manages to make a full loop, running on the ceiling and past the wall on the right before moving back to the ground just in time to perform a double drop kick onto 2 out of 5 soliders.
The closest solider continues firing till the Nightcrawler grabs and snaps his Shotgun in half before head-butting him, knocking him out.
The Female Officer was to be karated into suishi till her second in command jumped in and took the blows, giving her enough time to contact her superiors that it was a fools errand to do this mission.
Her second in command took a powerful kick to the stomach, sending him 5 meters and hitting his officer back. The Nightcrawler grabbed the Officer by the neck and pinned her against the wall, lifting her up as she struggled to breath.
The Nightcrawler laughed in a sinister, low voice before knocking her out and dropping her to the ground.
The Nightcrawler looks back at John's last position and realised he left. The Nightcrawler, like most of them would do, started to track him down, using his scent.
