(2 hours later)
John walks alongside the Nightcrawler, who seemingly was willingly to train a human on the techniques and tricks of a Nightcrawler.
Nightcrawler's POV:
"Hey, I hope your ready for this. It can be difficult doing this training"
The Nightcrawler seems worried or expressing concern in his tone.
John's POV:
"Don't worry. I've gone through much worse"
The Nightcrawler justs nods in agreement, still showing a expression of concern on their face.
After a while, John and the Nightcrawler finally arrive at its hideout.
Nightcrawler's POV:
"So, want to train?"
John nods, seemingly not knowing what's going to happen.
(1 hour later)
John rushes at full speed as the conveyor belt moves past, moving backwards torwards a furnace, John doesn't look back and just focuses ahead of him, his life is on the line afterall.
Nightcrawler's POV:
"Focus! Maintain breathing! Do this for another 10 minutes! You'll never know if a hostile can only run at full speed for 15 minutes!"
The Nightcrawler roars at John as John doesn't replies back, seemingly too focused at the task at hand, staying alive.
The Nightcrawler mutters to itself, questioning on how John is still going strong after 15 minutes, normally humans can only last 5 minutes, running at full speed like that.
Over the past days, John continuously trains, focusing on speed, agility and endurance. He performs some training exercises related to Stength.
Nightcrawler's POV:
"Maintain posture! Keep moving! Wall running is easy but wall running as well turning 360 degrees at full speed is hard!"
Many exercises were life-threatening and dangerous. Most times involving the Furnace on the Conveyor Belt or involving Gootraxian Puddles.
Most cases, John amazes the Nightcrawler with him keeping his word true on that he's gone through much worse, that line really confused and messed up the Nightcrawler's Brain on what could be much worse.
Nightcrawler's POV:
"Come on! Give your best shot!"
The Strength exercises were fun and deadly, 1 v 1 with the Nightcrawler was dangerous but John learnt alot about the Nightcrawler's abilites and the Nightcrawler he's training with, called Moon, a non-gendered Nightcrawler, or a Nightcrawler with no defining physical or emotional traits of a basic male or female. These are rarer and mostly spring up with the genetics of the host or a rare offspring of the original Gootraxian Puddle.
Moon's POV:
"Come on! Your enemy won't give you another chance at surviving!"
John soon grew close to the Nightcrawler, considering them as a friend. Their voice was so interesting, sounding like a soft, feminine voice at normal and a loud, masculine, Drill Sergeant-like voice when growling, roaring or just yelling in general, perhaps a sympton of being a non-gendered Gootraxian.
This time will be good for research on Nightcrawlers and this rare occurrence.
Time grew slow in the presence of Moon. John realised Moon acting differently over 3 weeks, perhaps they were warming up to him? Perhaps they see him as a friend as well?
