3 days later....
John's POV:
"Damn. The Outlands are sure like hell. It's March 3rd i think. What a good time for that recruit to join the force."John came down the elevator and turned some corners till he reached a small storage intersection, near the Manfucturing Zone.
???'s POV:
"Hello! How's it going?"John got startled at the voice, from which it grabbed him and hugged him.
John's POV:
"Sin! I'm doing good. How's my sinox going on?"Sin let go and went in front of John, from which he turned around and faced him.
Sin's POV:
"Oh you know, straying far from every Gootraxian and human, till you came along and we became friends."Sin seems more cheerful around John, this is odd behaviour, as he is normally shy, maybe he has gotten used to John's presence?
John's POV:
"Huh. Well it's nice to meet you this week. Today's been such a bother with above ground and the damn Kaiju's acting irritate at Gate A."John sighs of stress. Sin notices this and walks to a pillow, sitting down, patting a pillow next to him to John.
John quietly laughs at Sin's remark, before he sits down next to Sin, his gleamy, lime eyes staring at him.
John's POV:
"Have I told you about my life in the past?"Sin shakes his head in disagreement.
John's POV:
"Well, I was 12 when the war started and 22 when the war ended, I was surprisingly the best and youngest agent of CIA, my father being a CIA Agent and I was trained into the CIA ever since I was 5. "Sin seems shocked, despite not kowtowing what the CIA is.
Sin's POV:
"That's surprisingly young to be forced into such thing. "John's POV:
"Well, in 1905, the world agreed that specialised education for children must happen in order to maximise efficiency in the Economy."Sin's POV:
"So.. you didn't get to choose what you do..?"John's POV:
"Yeah, efficiency over happiness. Mainly if you were born male, you would follow the job that your father had. But, happiness does happen, ever since 1968, individuals at the time called the 'LGBTQ' believed in happiness as well equality instead of always focusing on the numbers and surveys. "Sin's POV:
"You mean... that those people rebelled?"John's POV:
"Yeah.. in 1970, those people won as because, according to newer surveys, if workers were happy, then efficiency increased which for the Corporations and Companies, was good for business so they allowed it. Which is lucky for those rebels, as world peace has achieved that same year."Sin is amazed about this events, taking place so long ago.
John's POV:
"In 1980, those rebels became a part of normal society, many world leaders agreed that arguing over such a thing is pointless, so, they were given the same rights and respect as a normal citizen, no special treatment obviously, otherwise non-rebels would riot at the inequality. After that announcement, those rebels no longer became rebels as they became a part of society, sure some people didn't like them, but that was expected and such opinions were just opinions."Sin seems so puzzled.
Sin's POV:
"So back then, they were weird but arguing was pointless overall? And them... world peace came?John nods.
John's POV:
"Yeah...for 40 years... till the war came and wiped two thirds of humanity and now only 2 billion humans exist and those numbers are decreasing, rapidly"Sin leaned on John's shoulder, seemingly exhausted about history.
Sin's POV:
"Your coat is cozy"Sin's face seems to go red.
John's POV:
"Luckily, I brought another one, so here you go."Sin wrapped himself in it like a tortilla, seemingly and lightly blushing at John's kindness.
John's WMTP went off, it seemingly their being a problem in the Flooded Zone.
John's POV:
"Not again. Sorry. I have to go. Before another war happens."Sin seems sad.
Sin's POV:
"Okay... goodbye"John's POV:
"See ya."They both waved goodbye before John departed.
