John marches up to HQ, headquarters of where High Command rules from.
Daniel's POV:
"They will most likely have a plan B in these cases, guess they didn't have one wear their own men and women turn against them"
The Resistance crosses into the courtyard where the HC of Technology resides in a prototype Mech, standing 5 meters tall. John and Daniel duck for cover, roughly 30 gootraxians charging torwards their death and more to come.
Daniel's POV:
"I'll provide covering fire, GO!"
Daniel and other LLDF Resistance Soliders open fire as John swiftly crawls torwards the mech's left flank.
HC of Technology's POV:
"Why fight? Why Rebel? You'll all weak in the eyes of High Command"
John and his Nightcrawler right hand man charges through the hostile forces. With John knocking down any foolish solider that crosses his path while the Nightcrawler, his Mentor, takes down any turrets and droids deployed on their path to the top.
Several Nuclear Rabbit's below launch their sludge to disable some droids and a squad of panthers and Lantern Shorks climb to assist in cleaning the floors of enemy forces.
The duo successfully managed to reach the top floor. A massive robot gets deployed off the wall, the HC of Warfare by its side.
HC of Warfare's POV:
"You must know this is a means to an end. Without us, Humans will fall and so will Humanity. Killing us is absolutely greedy and pointless"
John looks down below watching Daniel getting shot in the leg before Abble jumps in with a mini gun and opens fire onto the mech that the HC of Technology resides in.
John's POV:
"People like you don't care for your soliders, you see them as disposable, not even allowing their families to know of their death, forgotten to their bloodline, wiped from history. People like you forget over 3 billion human lives lost in that damn war, and yet, you see me, a legendary former CIA Agent and the first and only synth, as disposable? For not showing up to meetups because I was busy studying? Impatient"
The Nightcrawler leaps torwards the mech and the HC of Warfare lept torwards John with his Tungsten Claymore.
John, for the first time, unsheathed his Tungsten Katana and clashed swords with the HC of Warfare.
John's Mentor pulled open a panel and discovered that it is rigged with explosives.
Prototype Robot:
"Pati Bestiam, Ad Victoriam"
The robot explodes with a violent shock wave, killing John's Mentor. John and the HC of Warfare get knocked back to the nearby building's roof.
John's POV:
"That's it! You'll suffer now! You killed Moon!"
John leaps forward and clashes swords with the HC of Warfare, who narrowly dodges and blocks his attacks, seemingly fighting with unmatched strength and speed. John's instincts from the war kick in and tackles the HC of Warfare which he kicks John, causing them to fall of the roof and land on the side of the elevator track, lodging their weapons into the wall.
John leaps down and drop kicks the HC of Warfare, from which he activate his Jet Boosters, making the HC of Warfare to fly mid-air.
John pushes himself from the wall and tackles the HC of Warfare, just grabbing onto him as he attempted to dodge John. They fall into the Main building where the duo clash swords in a fencer-like fashion, except they intend to murder each other. The HC of Warfare surprisingly left forward and lodged his Claymore into John's torso were John quickly shoves his katana into the HC of Warfare's torso as well, puncturing 2 of his ribs.
HC of Warfare's POV:
"We are dead man walking now, haha"
Before John could react quickly enough, the HC of Warfare activates his Jet Boosters backwards, launching them both torwards the ground below, directly on top of the HC of Technology.
Abble notices this and quickly notifies the resistance to fall back.
John's POV:
"Iram Meam Ardebit Te!"
John activates the button on his katana, which channelled its power to expell a burst of flames, disintegrating most of the HC of Warfare's organs and most of his Claymore. John crash lands onto the Mech, creating a massive explosion that looked like miniature Nuke, upwards of 20 meters in height of the mushroom cloud.
Resistance forces charge as the smoke and dust dissipates, upon seeing a heavily damaged John with a only one leg, quarter of his torso and 1 arm gone, alongside a metal fragment that's pierced John's heart, seemingly from the HC of Warfare's Claymore. He seems to have two key cards, one from the HC of Technology and HC of Warfare.
Toffee's, Abble's and Daniel's POV:
"John!"
Abble assists in supporting his missing leg while Daniel supports his right arm while Toffee supports his left shoulder.
Toffee's POV:
"Your not human?!"
Several humans and gootraxians cheer and others search of any remaining HC loyal humans.
John's POV:
"I'm not, but this virus still affects robotic synths. ERROR IN LEFT ARM, TORSO, LIFE SUPPORT AND LEFT LEG"
Daniel's POV:
"Goddamn...we must access that lab on that keycard"
John's POV:
"The HC of Secuirty's key card is useless, as the Secuirty panel must stay open, the layout database from the HC of Engineering's key card is useless, as the war is over. Take the HC of Technology's key card, Daniel"
Daniel's POV:
"Where does it lead?"
John looks torwards the previous district they were in before the HQ's district through the window.
John's POV:
"The Overseer Manfucturing Office, need you to destroy it after peace is ensured. And destroy this key card from the HC of Warfare, it leads to the Purification Chamber, the bio weapon used to kill hundreds of Gootraxians in the civil war in the past"
John stares at the HC of Scientific Studies Keycard, labelled as 'Keycard to Experimental Alchemical Vials Storage'.
