Although I know Xenoblade isn't the greatest of game series, I would argue that is
the most relevant one besides a few others. The main theme of life is the strengths of this
series that we don't often speak about. Living the best life anyone could have and trying to
help others along the way. The friendships a person forms allow them to grow and be a
better person as well. Life is a wonderful journey everyone should take to grow and
experience for themselves. In the past year, I've seen life being taken from others so easily
and changed drastically. I know it isn't fair that one part of the world suffers as another
lives on so easily. But at the same time, I believe witnessing, whether it is seeing or hearing,
the events should change the world. Although, past experiences dictate otherwise, there will
be those who do remember these events. This will lead to a change. There are those who
will remember the ones who loved life and survived these events. They will learn and spread
the importance of life. They don't want others to forget the event and others. Xenoblade
also explores this idea with each game. They want to live. They want to survive. They want
to see their world grow and live on. This might be me looking too deep into this series, but
the way the characters grow and feel alive is something fantastic. They show emotions and
shout out their joys, sadness, anger, and frustrations. Sure, their starts are not always the
greatest, but that's important too. You may not have the happiest beginnings and will
struggle in the middle, but that doesn't mean you're ending won't be happy. Seeing Shulk,
Rex, and Noah struggle with their friends to find the happy ending they believed they
deserved proves anyone can do this as well. I personally view Shulk's story as the most
compelling of the three. This should be four considering Elma's game is out. I have yet to
play, but her main theme is survival. That will to live is amazing and something else. After
all, living a life we all enjoy is something incredible. We want to feel the joys of life,
experience sadness, joy, frustration, and relief. Life is filled with these emotions and also
makes everything worth it. Experience and life go hand in hand. It is worth it to see it
blossom and grow.
