"You're tired this morning."

Pete glances down and sees Vegas peering up at him from his chest. He reaches up to touch Vegas's hair, gently running his fingers through it before bending forward to kiss Vegas's forehead before closing his eyes again.

"Wake up," Vegas demands, touching Pete's face, "They won't be here for another two hours."

"Vegas, I woke up at 6:30 to change the sheets and make sure we both showered. I'm not undoing my hard work," Pete says, "Sleeping until they get here is much more preferable."

Vegas shifts next to him. When Pete opens his eyes again, he is sitting up and staring down at him.

"I stood up in the shower the whole time-"

"With my help," Pete reminds him, "But yes, you did really well."

"That's the first time I've been able to do that since waking up," Vegas says, sounding proud before cupping Pete's bulge, "Your dick has healing properties. I need another treatment. I can't think of anything better to do."

"You're ridiculous," Pete snorts, then gently pulls on Vegas until he's lying back down, "Why don't you tell me about before while I rest my eyes?"

"Before what?" Vegas asks, letting himself curl around Pete.

"Before you left for college," Pete clarifies, clearing his throat, "...Before I forgot everything. How close were we, exactly?"

Vegas lets out a sigh, "Why do you want to talk about it now?"

"Because…" Pete starts, not knowing how to put it into words, "I feel robbed of it. You said…You said we did a little more than kiss. So what did we do-"

"We had sex."

Pete opens his eyes and stares at the ceiling, "And by 'sex' you mean-"

"I fucked you," Vegas says bluntly, then lifts himself up again, "You were the first person I ever did that with. I was surprised you let me. I thought you'd insist on the other way around because you're older than I am. But I think you saw I didn't want to bottom and you…you gave me the control over the situation."

"...Mmm," Pete hums, trying not to feel overwhelmed, "Where did we…how did we…I don't understand why I did that."

Vegas frowns at that, then looks away, "That's rude, Pete-"

"I didn't mean it like that," Pete says, sighing, "I meant that could have really compromised my position in the family. I still would have been pretty new back then. I'm just…I'm confused."

Vegas looks back at him and must take pity on him, since he clarifies, "You were young. Probably more reckless. I know you were a little more defiant with Tankhun back then, but he usually took it easy on you. He would get so frustrated when we would hang out and you would drag him along as a third wheel in an attempt to get us to bond. That's why he knew so much about my crush on you. He witnessed it more than anyone else and that's why he became the evil parent who convinces the misunderstood love interest of their child to leave and not come back. He convinced me to go to New York right after he interrupted me asking you out. Tankhun is the villain."
