Ellie has been in a coma for five years, everything she knows is a simulation, created by her brain to keep her alive. Im the real world, her family struggle to cope with the possibility of losing her, especially after the loss of their other daughter 2 years before Ellie was born. If Ellie wakes up, she will lose everything she knows, but if she doesn't recover from the coma she could be taken off life support.

G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-Yong) and T.O.P (Choi Seung-Hyun) had been best friends for a long time. After high school graduation they stayed in a one bedroom apartment to live as room mates. They applied for the same college course. Through good times and bad they both realize that they are always there for each other. Until one horrible day. Ji-Yong's biggest fear has came true.

"I hate my name." She whispers. I pull back, looking at her in surprise. "What?" She looks up at me, her eyes red-rimmed and puffy. "Maddenly," she says, her voice barely above a whisper. "I hate it. I sometimes think it's like some sort of prophecy...Maddenly...like I'm meant to live up to it. Like I'm meant to go mad." My heart breaks for her, for the pain and fear that's been building inside her. I take her face in my hands, wiping away her tears with my thumbs. "You're not going mad," I tell her, my voice firm. "You're strong, Maddenly. You're resilient. And I'm here for you, no matter what." She looks up at me, her eyes searching mine, and for a moment, I think she might believe me. But then she just shakes her head, and the tears start flowing again. I pull her back into my arms, holding her tight as she cries, trying to absorb some of her pain, trying to be her rock in this moment.

"Get out of the car" that's the last thing Dia can remember about the day Tori died. They say that she shot him and then herself that it was some kind of pact they had made, that they wanted to die together. But Dia doesn't remember any of that and now with the police and press swarming him for answers as to what really happened between them he's under too much pressure to remember. But one things for sure...Tori doesn't want them to know or Dia to remember. He sees her everywhere like she's alive and she's not happy.

Tears fall from the heavens, as thunder muffles all sound; and yet, not a single piece of literature could be as clear as the feeling I get when I look at you, even if your words have been drowned.

Aliyah is a cage fighter. Subverting the stereotyped idea of a Mixed Martial Artist, she works as a software engineer in London. Her life in a male dominated environment is fraught with challenges caused by her race and gender and aggravated by her childhood trauma and consequent aloofness. This is embodied in the character Jeremy, a co-worker who relentlessly taunts and bullies Aliyah. The story begins one month prior to her debut cage fight. Aliyah works hard to balance her demanding job and training regime. At the night of the fight, the three-round tournament sees Aliyah suffering multiple head-concussions, resulting in an accident. The second part, 'Fighter', portrays Aliyah's struggle with the symptoms of her brain injury and complications of her diagnosis. Following hospital discharge, her brain function declines, jeopardising her work and comfortable urban life. Ultimately, the injury leads to a violent episode and she loses everything important to her. The story examines prejudices about mental disorders and challenges the way invisible illness is often dismissed as merely psychosomatic. Then I open my eyes. It feels as though you're waking up from a deep sleep. You just had a confusing dream, and now you're awakening to reality for the first time. Your vision is blurry as your eyes are adjusting to the light. But, it's not your bedroom you see. It's not your nightstand, sun kissed walls, or morning beauty. Instead, it's blurry blobs of people standing all around you, looking down on you as if you had just awoken from unconsciousness. Oh wait, I was unconscious. What happened? How long have I been out? What is this deafening ringing in my ears? I can't hear anything. Anyone! Even though I know they are talking to me. And why does everything have fuzzy edges? What are all these rainbow colours and crystals everywhere? Oh God, am I on drugs? No, I can't be... Holy crap! Am I dying?! Then you feel the pain. Oh God! It feels as though the back of my head has sunken in, pulsating in pain like an ice pick jabbing at my skull and made its way through to my brain. Please, make it stop! Wait, where's my body? I think for a moment. Oh... It's attached. Thank goodness. The blobs of people part at one side. A larger, taller blob breaks through. As they bend down they become more clear. Dark brown hair, just past shoulder length, and tied neatly into a pony. Long face with glasses. I know who this is! Oh yes, help me, please!

A traumatic brain injury is an injury to the brain caused by an outside force usually to the head. The people that experience and survive such events often have a lot of difficulties in life that often include dealing with people who don't understand that just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there. A lot of people often think that all of these problems they experience are not real and only made up to inconvenience them. Spoiler Alert: They aren't. All of the information and stories used come from real brain injury survivors and scientific research along with documents written by neurologists and psychologist. I myself am not a neurologist or psychologist, but I was able to access their information and experience living among people suffering from traumatic brain injuries since as early as four years old to now and beyond that. This will include true stories from people who are brain injury survivors. I will include some little tricks and tips I have learned from interacting with a person with a TBI.

josephine's (Josie) life took a turn that no one would expect. Her everyday life before turned into nothing but fuzzy memories and left her wondering why? When Josie got into a car accident, all the things she knew before was stripped away from her in a flash after suffering from a traumatic brain injury. Her normal life as a child was swept away like the ocean hitting the sand; she didn't understand why this was happening to her and she didn't know what was going to change. Josie's days were filled with being poked and prodded at by doctors and feeling like this was going to be the rest of her life. Her family had to change for her but her mother has a dying need to control the change even if that means Josie. Josie just wants to be normal and wants her life to be the way it was before, but with each year that goes by in her life the more obstacles come like a freight train off the rails. Will Josie get the life she had before the accident or will she crumble?

Nick is recovering from a traumatic brain injury. While on a boat, he gets struck by the forces of Nature (lightning) and falls off the boat (presumably); hitting his head and causing amnesia. Nick's few memories don't involve many people, except for a reassuring name: Dahlia. Nick wants to find her; she's the only one who can fill in the missing pieces of his life. While on his search, he comes across more and more memories of the lovely girl with the gorgeous name. But as time passes on, Nick wonders if he'll ever be able to find her, especially with only his handful of vague memories. But persistence wins and Nick continues to search; falling more and more in love with Dahlia, even as the odds of finding her get slimmer and slimmer.
