Chapter 14

Cayla's POV

We walked in the kitchen and Mia and Brandon were standing there talking. I snuck up behind him and jumped on his back.

"Ducky!!!" I screamed hugging his back. Ok so the reason i call Brandon Ducky is because when we were little we went to the park, i was about 8 and he was about 11, and we were running around. We walked near the pond and we started throwing rocks at ducks. I threw a really large rock at a duck and well....killed it. I started to cry to Brandon saying that i ruined the ducks life. He told me it was ok and that all ducks died. So Ducky stuck.

Brandon stumbled but regained his balance after i jumped on him. He took me off his back and pulled me in to a bear hug.

"Hey babe!" Brandon said still hugging me. I loved Brandon.

Brandon was a cute guy. He was tall, about 6'4. Brandon plays baseball and basketball and is like freaking awesome at both! Doing sports makes him nice and muscular. He has blonde hair that is always styled like Niall's hair. His eyes are a really pretty shade of blue-green. Him and i both get really tan. People think we are related because we are both blonde, blueish eyes, we are both tan, we are both athletic, and because of how we act toward each other. People assume we are either dating or that we are siblings and that really disturbs me because being siblings and dating are WAY different!

"You guys this is Brandon and this is Mia!" I said introducing everybody. I pulled Mia aside.

"Hi! I missed you!" I said hugging her.

"Missed you too! How is everything going?" Mia asked.

"Harry and i are dating!" I said jumping up and down slightly. Mia and i love to fan-girl. We talked about how it was and then collected ourselves and walked back in to the kitchen.

"Ducky who is all here? Is Miley here?" I asked frowning. I hated Miley.

"Like 75 people. I dont think she is here cuz i know i didnt invite her. Ummm...Tyler, Sara, Micah, Collin, Kenzie, Evan, Hannah, Lexi, Nick, Emma, Brady, Alex, Robert, Nathan, Jessie, Austin, Dani, Grace, Cody, Kyle, Brad, Amber..."

"Ahhh!!! Amber! Where is she?" I asked. I loved Amber, remember my other best friend.

"I saw her by the pool!" Brandon said. I grabbed Harry's hand and ran toward the pool. I got outside and saw her sitting by the edge of the pool talking to some guys. I ran over to her and bent down and started petting her head. She doesnt lik people touching her hair.

"WTF? Who the-" Amber began turning around,"Cayla!!!" We attacked each other in big bear hugs.

"Hey boo!" I said letting go of Amber. She looked at Harry not quite understanding why he was here,"Harry and i are dating now!" I said smiling as Harry kissed me on the top of my head. I giggled.

"Ahhh! The two curlies!!! I love it!" Amber said smiling.

"Haha! Thanks."

We talked to Amber but decided to go say hi to other people. Harry and i said hi to my friends Sara and Grace. As i was walking away from them i say one of my best guy friends.

"EVAN!" I screamed running to him and jumping on to him.

"Cayla!" Evan said catching me. He had my thighs cupped in his hands and i was straddling his waist as i hugged him.

"I havent talked to you like all summer!" I said. I met Evan in preschool and went to daycare with him until 3rd grade. We didnt go to the same school. In 6th grade i found out he went to my school and we have been good friends ever since. I hopped off of Evan and smiled at Harry who was behind me. I looked at him and he had an angry face on.
