That evening
"Finally thank you for coming guys I've been waiting for you'll for so long," Ved says
"No one was interested but we still made it," I said teasing him
He as usual pinched my cheeks hard and took us to meet some of his friends.
One of them was Anaya
She was that one famous girl in their school who was an all-rounder.
She was a spoiled brat, school head girl also the school topper, known especially for her looks and was a dancer.
I never found her pretty or amazing even though we were never introduced in person
She looked cunning and also everyone could see she had a thing for Ved
And sometimes I felt those feelings reciprocated
Maybe that's why I hated her
"Hii this is Anaya" She extends her hand to me for a handshake
I left her hanging and replied with a sarcastic smile
and went beside Shaan who was at the drinks counter.
Everyone knew I hated her including Ved.
"Pass me a glass of water," I said to Shaan
"U hate her don't u?" he asked
"Why would u say so," I asked
I mean I knew I was being obvious but still
"Well she likes Ved and he kinds of maybe likes her too and u like him so I just guessed"
He said
"I don't like him!!" I screamed and left his side to sit in a corner
The others then joined me
I could see Ved talking to that witch very clearly
"Witch!" I muttered
"She is," Reyansh said.
As I looked puzzled at him he continued saying
That she made many guys fall for her and then left them
Making them feel like a complete loser and she did all that with full conscious.
Well anyway I now don't have to hate her for no reason
Just as I thought so I saw Ved pinching her cheeks

So it wasn't just for me?

I saw everyone's jaw drop
I immediately left the room
There were narrow stairs outside
As I stood there I made myself realize-

"Maam the party is inside" Ved comes and sits beside me
" You should be inside sir" I replied to him.
"All okay?" he asks me lowering his pitch
"YUP" I replied

He shouldn't.
"Come then we'll go play something"
He said as he stood up and extended his arms for me to get up.
I grabbed his hands and he took me inside
"Truth or dare Shaan choose one," Ved asks Shaan as we started playing Truth or Dare and the bottle ended up pointing at Shaan
The game was all jokes and fun until the bottle pointed at me
I did not have the energy to do some ridiculous dare so I chose truth
" Do u have a boyfriend? Or do u like someone?" Anaya asked curiously
"I don't think you will have one but I still want to know if u like someone and if that someone is in this room" she continues
"Witch" Ruhi and Erica whispered beside me
The whole room understood what she meant
Reyansh tried to get that topic off
But I wanted to reply
"Yes I don't have a boyfriend and yes I do like someone
U did not ask to mention the name of that someone so I won't" I replied with a sarcastic smile.
