17: Connection

At the moment, Mikumo, Tatami, and Yo are hiding in a public bathroom. Mikumo had grab a laptop from a store they pass before they reach the bathroom.

Mikumo first call Aizawa using Tatami's phone while they are escaping. He actually. Multi-task the writing codes, running away, and talking to Aizawa. Of course all his senses are heighten and the two are guiding him.

But a group of villain saw them that it disrupted Mikumo from typing codes which he was force to end the call. Now, Yo and Tatami are guarding the door while Mikumo is operating the laptop.

"Shindo-san... Can you feel an object... Like really big object using your vibration?" Mikumo ask.

"Uhm... I don't know. I mainly just use it for destroying the ground or make my opponents drop their balance.... I wasn't that confident to my quirk to be honest. Besides my range wasn't that wide," Shindo answer.

"I see... But I think your quirk is really powerful. You just need a right method to train it," Mikumo commented who was still focus on the laptop. Shindo got shock since no one really thought that his quirk is powerful.

After all his control is shitty, and his range is just 50 meters. Its too pathetic to be honest.

"Why not we test if you really could..." Mikumo said. Shindo look to Mikumo curiously but nodded. So Mikumo made him sat on the floor. Good thing is the floor is really clean and dry.

"I want you to your hands on the ground and try to "extend yourself" I think. Don't think of vibrating the ground while you activate your quirk but to connect to the vibration on the ground itself. Like a cord connecting to a socket," Mikumo said. Shindo did it and focus on feeling the ground.

After getting familiarize, he was shock that indeed, it happen. He could feel the vibration of the ground and it could travel farther than he thought.

"I'm sure the core is a support item. So it should be vibrating rapidly," Mikumo said.

Shindo focus on the vibration and found out five suspicious vibration. He could pin point their location and told Mikumo. Mikumo work on looking at CCTV cameras without alerting the villain who's in control room and study the cores. There is one in west side, third floor, one in east second floor, one in underground park which is in south. One just a few step from where they are which was in north. And one which is in the fountain below.

Upon studying the core of the barrier, the most dangerous one is the core in south.. Which is where the strongest barrier core was put because that is where the mall's entrance is located.

"This villain attack is indeed plan by someone... Even the locations of the barrier was carefully made," Mikumo commented.

"It's not hard to just shatter the barrier with my quirk, it's just so annoying to explain how it happens. I need to be more careful than anything as this time is more crucial to the plan. All I can do is to use non visible quirks and stretch my "Gravitation" abilities," Mikumo thought.

He already located the five cores even without Shindo's help but these two had more potential than he thought. They will be a great connection so he let them do the job.

"This is the plan, the core needs to be destroyed in sequence. I'll send you both in the location of the two cores if it's fine. All you need to do is to destroy it in my cue," Mikumo gave Tatami the Ax which made her nervous.

"Just think of this as a simulator activity for our hero course. It will lessen your nervousness. Relax because I'll protect you both no matter what," Mikumo said. Tatami nodded and Shindo looked at him with determination.

"Alright! We trust you!" Shindo said and smiled.

Mikumo then manages to connect to someone on the third floor.
