"Uuuu.." I slowly opened my eyes to be met with a ceiling,

"Uh.. are you awake?" I couldn't see who was there, slowly turning my head to be met with a white-haired male

I blinked a couple of times to adjust my vision, "Who.. are you?"

".. you're kidding, right? Hey, little shit.. it's me.." Worry entered the purple eyes of this man

I couldn't keep up the act anymore, "PFFT- I'm kidding 'Nemi! You should've seen your face!!"

"God, I fucking hate you!!" He said with a wide smile,

"Are your injuries alright?" I questioned him, watching as he lifted up his hand

"I'm missing fingers, so that sucks. Everything else is fine, what about you? They said you've got a weird pattern going on with your right eye." Sanemi took a seat on one of the stools in the room

"A weird pattern? I can feel each of my limbs, so I think I'm doing fine," I slowly started to sit myself up. "How about Giyuu? How many pillars survived?"

".. only Giyuu and I survived, He's alright, missing an arm, but he's alright."

I took a deep breath, "At least they are all in a better place. I hope they get reborn into a better world. Ah, and Tanjiro? What about all of them?"

"He's awake, and so are the others, but the butterfly girl said you'll need to recover. So don't move, alright?" He's much more gentle now. It's better.

"Hey 'Nemi, I've got to ask you something,"

"What's up?"

"Could I live with you?"

My body has been recovering well. I can walk now, and so can Tanjiro! We watch Kamari every night. It's glowing much brighter than before.

I visit my brother's grave often, talking to him about what has happened that morning, anything really. One time I spent hours just.. crying. They told me I shouldn't blame myself for it, for not protecting my brother, but I can't help but feel guilty.
