I woke up that morning feeling excited to go to my boyfriend Luis's hockey game. I had never been able to make it to one before, and I was eager to show him my support. I put on my warmest sweater and headed to the rink.

The game was intense, and I found myself holding my breath every time Luis had the puck. He played so well, and I was proud to be his girlfriend. But then, everything changed.

There was a scramble for the puck, and before I knew it, it was flying straight at my face. I tried to move out of the way, but it was too late. The puck hit me square in the cheek, and I fell to the ground in pain.

Luis was immediately by my side, his face filled with horror. "Oh my God, oh my God, are you okay? I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to-"

"It's okay," I said, trying to be brave even though tears were streaming down my face. "It was an accident."

But Luis couldn't stop apologizing. "I'm so sorry, baby, I didn't even see you there. I'm such an idiot, I should have been more careful-"

"Luis, it's okay," I said, trying to calm him down. "I know it was an accident. It's not your fault."

But he just kept apologizing over and over again. It was sweet, in a way, to see how much he cared about me. But it was also frustrating, because I just wanted him to stop beating himself up about it.

In the end, I had to take matters into my own hands. I leaned forward and kissed him on the lips, cutting off his apologies mid-sentence.

"It's okay," I said again, smiling at him. "I forgive you."

And finally, finally, Luis was able to relax. We spent the rest of the game cuddled up together, my face still sore but my heart full of love for this sweet, caring man who couldn't stop apologizing even when he didn't need to.

I was standing on the ice, watching my boyfriend Luis practice his shots. He was really good, and I loved watching him play. Suddenly, I heard a loud crack and felt a sharp pain in my leg. I looked down and saw that I had been hit by a slapshot. I turned to see who had shot it, and saw that it was Fulton, one of the other players on the team.

I was surprised and a little angry, but I didn't say anything. Luis, on the other hand, was furious. He stormed over to Fulton and started yelling at him. "What the hell, man? You could have killed her!" he shouted.

I tried to calm Luis down, telling him it was just an accident and that I was fine. But he wasn't listening. He kept yelling at Fulton, who looked absolutely mortified.

"I'm so sorry," Fulton said, coming over to me. "Are you okay?"

I nodded, still a little shaken up. "It's okay," I said. "Accidents happen."

Fulton looked relieved, but he still seemed upset. "I'll be more careful next time," he promised.

Luis eventually calmed down, but he was still a little annoyed. "Just be more careful, okay?" he said to Fulton.

Fulton nodded, looking contrite. "I will," he said.

In the end, everything turned out okay. I wasn't seriously hurt, and Fulton learned to be more careful with his shots. It was just another day on the ice, and we all went back to practicing like nothing had happened.
