Dreamy Dreams

Chapter - 4

     Tick.. tick.. tick..

   The man laying on the floor squirm his eyes feeling his body touched by a soft breeze..

     Tick.. tick.. tick..

    His sleep was disturbed by gentle movement of the clock.. rare to wake up for that..

     Ethan:" Shh.. " he groan lightly not wanting to wake up from his peaceful sleep..

    His face crunched as he squeeze his eyes open without his will.. the sharp rays of sun invade his sight as he narrowed them trying to adjust to the light..

   Ethan:" where am I? " The sleep in his eyes fade away as he saw himself in an unfamiliar place..

   Ethan:" Dang it.. " he growl pinching his nose with his thumb and forefinger..

   Another dream.. another story.. another world..

    A deep sight escape his lips as he look at the ceiling helplessly.. it wasn't his choice to be here.. he is bounded and to what, he is unaware himself..

    He looked around the small room.. old and empty.. painted white with a small windows in each side and a door in one side.. whose place is this he don't know.. what is he doing here he don't know.. never ever in his life he is clueless about anything except his dreams..

    He closed his eyes hearing the rustling of the greenery due to soft breeze outside.. the voice continued for a while before sound of a strong step echoed in the room..

   His eyes were shot open as he immediately turn towards the door..

  Ethan:" who is it? " He dragged his body up.. walking towards the door with his fast beating heart.. hoping there won't be any creepy woman in his dream this time.. regretting his choice if giving up on pills..

   He opened the door and step out.. cool breeze hit his body and he squirm lightly.. he step forward and was welcomed by soft carpet of grass only then he realized he has bare feet..

   His eyes take in the sight of the place and he had to admit it was beautiful.. a vast field filled with flowers.. the atmosphere was filled with heart softening fragrance and among all those beautiful flower there stand one.. his one..

   His eyes narrowed looking at the girl standing there while back facing him.. cladded in pale blue night suit her open hairs flying freely with air..

  Ethan:" Who are you? " His voice came out uncertain as he voice out his confusion reaching out the girl whose body contract for a moment before she turn around..

   He blink his pair of deep eyes as they met her confused one.. it was beautiful.. dark brown giving a tint of blackness which one can easily misunderstood as black but with his one gaze he was so sure they were the most beautiful pair of brown eyes he ever saw..

   Or maybe he saw it somewhere.. his heart beat in an unknown beats.. changing it's language to something which he couldn't understand while his mind found the person infront of him familiar..

  Lily:" W-what? " Her soft mutter managed to reach his hear and he felt his ear ring capturing her soothing voice like wanting to save it forever..

  His eyebrows met at the strange chemistry.. he couldn't understand the strange vibes this girl was emitting..

  Ethan:" Who are you? " He asked, this time coldly as he took a step back like wanting to get rid of this unwanted chemistry..

  Lily blink, coming back to her senses.. the calmness in her eyes fading away like his cold voice awaken something in her..
