Chapter - 37

   Lily:" Mr.Liam?! " Her sweet voice that melted his ears, molding his lips into a smile as he turned around to look at the girl, who is following him silently with few books in her arms, carrying the weight of her bag.

  Ethan:" Yes? " He could only try to have the same emotional level within his voice as her.

  Lily:" where are we going? " He pressed his lips to suppress a smile, seeing the girl looking back towards the familiar path they were taking.

  Ethan:" Are you catching the bad influence Ms.Lily? Don't tell me you, too forget the way to my office? " His playful voice that left the girl speechless at his carefully spoken words.

  Lily:" No, I do remember it. I wasn't sure if we were going to your office. " She blink gently at the man, whose eyes doesn't seems to leave her.

  Ethan:" Understandable, but I am sure you know it now. " A forced smile plastered on her face as the man turned around, proceed to walk while the girl nervously follow him behind.

  Lily:" why office tho?! " However her curiousness got the best of her and she couldn't hold it any longer.

  Lily:" I mean, we usually take the lessons in the classroom. Why office today? " He placed his hand on the knob and look at the girl before opening the door.

  Ethan:" Incase if you are wondering, there are still many teachers in the staffroom and room besides my office. You can shout for help whenever you feel like to. " He get in the room leaving the girl speechless once more.

  Lily:" I didn't mean to make you feel like that Mr.Liam, I am just.. " her voice died down as she saw him standing in front of the big pot of familiar plant, placed at one corner.

  Ethan:" Concerned?, I know Ms.Lily and I am fine with it. It's good to see you so causious of your surrounding. I can be at ease knowing you have tendency to stay out of trouble. " He sign her to sit, his words keep making the girl confused as the man sat infront of her in his chair full of authority.

  Ethan:" so? Literature it was. " Lily nod her head as she opened her book and handover the homework she has done.

  Ethan:" judging from the last time, you did improve a lot but there's still a room for more. " The girl sigh, after a lot of hard work and hearing the same words she has been hearing from Prof.Henry.

  Lily:" where do I lack? " She asked quite disappointedly but the man raised his gaze to stare at the girl.

  Ethan:" no where! " He stated lost in his thoughts but the girl look at him confused.

  Lily:" Sorry? " His big eyes blink gently as he put down her notebook.

  Ethan:" I mean not somewhere specific, but I think you can do better than this. " The girl nod her head as her notebook was given back to her.

  Ethan:" Open your literature book, I am sure we have some good topic to work on. " Lily opened her bag, trying to find that specify book while the man's eyes moved towards her cellphone placed on the table. His finger tap on the glass surface as he think deeply about the way to get his work done.

  Lily:" Mr.Alec has started a new chapter today and I personally think it's very good topic to work on. " She carried one, jumping from one page to another until she found that one page to stop.

  Ethan:" Okay, let's work on the first paragraph. " He saw the girl determinedly starting to work on it.

  Ethan:" Ms.Lily! " She look up at him, her baby hairs scattering over her forehead.

   Ethan:" Why don't you try describing me first? In one word only. " Her soft lips parted as she look at the man, tracing her gaze from her body to his face, his strong yet gentle gaze.
