Dreamy Dreams

Chapter - 8

    Ethan:" Lily " he called her name with a gentle smile as he witness her staring at him quietly for a while now..
 
  A sigh left her lips as she pull her gaze down.. her eyelids fell as she realized she has been pulled in his dream again but how?.. still clueless about that..

  Ethan:" you are here tonight.. " yes.. here or else he would have to run around the city to reach out for her..

  Lily:" yes.. " she whispered back biting down the next word which was obviously unfortunately..

  She looked up only to see him staring at her.. Geez she hated stares.. ignoring his presence she get up from the chair and turned around only to frown at the view infront of her eyes..

  Ethan:" are you leaving already? " He asked stepping up from his spot making his way towards her..

  Lily:" I am not bound to stay.. " she said ignoring the girlish corner of the room as she proceed to walk outside his office..

  Ethan:" wait.. " he called out for her but she didn't spare a glance and close the door behind leaving him groaning in frustration..

  Ethan:" The audacity.. " he gritted picking up his coat as he run after her..

  The moon was flashing over the earth.. making it brighter than before.. at the dark night just like a ray of hope.. a ray of light for ones who lost their paths in darkness..

  Lily let her feet drag her to somewhere she is unaware of.. the street lamps were very few in this corner of the city as her legs already aching because of walking around this much..

  Ethan sigh walking behind her at a distance.. his hands digged in his coat as he saw her walking around in loose trouser and shirt reaching down her mid thigh..

  Ethan:" how come she never have shoes and coat? " He said feeling the cold weather around him.. he could see her feet turning red due to coldness..

  She turned around and stood at zebra crossing seeing the red signal.. he blink his eyes seeing the road already empty.. he looked at the two ends of road and he couldn't see a single car coming over..

  He sigh and stood behind her still maintaining his distance as he can sense she don't like his presence much around him..

  Lily:" leave.. " she whispered enough for him to hear but he ignored it like air..

  Lily:" Ethan " she called his name and turned around.. her cold eyes stare and him making him feel amused.. it's rare that someone has guts to stare at him with a cold gaze that was supposed to belong to him only..

  Ethan:" yes.. " he said in his unusual soft tone which failed to soften the deep frown on her face..

  Lily:" why are you always following me? " She asked still not trusting him.. she was still suspicious of him and he could only sigh inwardly..

  Ethan:" because you are always alone.. " his words make piss sign on her face as she look at him unhappy..

  Lily:" I told you not every lonely person wants to have someone.. " she said again turning at her front and he smiles..

  Ethan:" but don't you know.. not every word the tongue spoke, is from heart.. " her heart vibrate at the sudden attack as her lips part open lacking the words to reply..

  Lily:" I am not someone who follow her heart blindly.. " she replied coldly this time turning her head in his direction..

  Lily:" my words are from brain not from my heart.. " she huff out finally seeing the signal turning green.. Ethan sigh feeling something in him burning.. he took a deep breath to calm himself down..
