Oh lordy lord

Kellin's POV

I'm walking in the pouring rain, tears daring to escape my eyes as I think uncontrollably about the conflict I've just been a part of.

The pulsating lines littered on my chest itch and sting with the soaked t-shirt coming in contact with them, but I ignore the sensation.

As I walk, a slim shadow of a girl comes into view, walking towards my direction.

Her arms are crossed with one another, her head pointed downward.

I can see her skirt riding up as she comes closer into view. She pulls it down, obstructing my view of what's underneath her short mini-skirt.

The sight of a lady distracts me from the racing thoughts as I take a breath, getting ready to speak to her.

"Hey, you okay?" I question in a worried but charming tone.

She looks up swiftly and slurs, "Oh, hi."

She looks surprised at first, then her mannerisms switch to a spaced vision.

I laugh and she nervously smiles up at me.

I start again. "You okay? Why is a pretty lady walking alone in the rain? It's dangerous out here."

I'm trying my best here, and it's coming off as super fan-fiction-esque, but right now I couldn't care less. I need to shove my thoughts away and surround myself with distraction.

Her cheeks flush with pink tints as she mumbles.

"My friend disappeared, that slut ditched me again."

She covers her mouth instantaneously as she comprehends what she just spouted.

I let out a genuine laugh, feeling a connection bloom.

I ask her for her name and she responds with "Gianna."

She rambles on about her name but I'm only thinking of her name.

Gianna. Gianna. Gianna.

I replay her name in my head and decide that it sounds nice.

I introduce myself as we continue to converse.

She stops for a minute, looking me up and down as she bites her lip. I smile in reaction.

It's working.

I ask if she's done checking me out and she stumbles with her words, denying all possibilities.

I grin and respond with a snarky, "Sure you weren't."

I speak without thinking and invite her over to my place. Bad move, I sound like a total weirdo.

I stand there looking stupid, expecting polite rejection, but she agrees.

I start walking towards my apartment, and she soon follows.

We talk about her friend who ditched her for a bassist and music.

We reach my apartment and I unlock the door with my pin as I hold the door open for her.

She thanks me and we walk side-by-side over to the elevator.

My eyes uncontrollably glance over her body, my gaze landing on her riding skirt once again. She doesn't seem to notice, but I have complete faith that I will get that skin-tight skirt off of her body tonight.
