Loretta’s POV
It’s the day before Shane and Kandace’s wedding. Everyone’s over at my house and we’re getting ready to see the men off. They’re going over to Xander’s to do dumb shit before tomorrow. ‘Just bring him back in one piece and no missing teeth. Or tattoos!’ Kandace warns the guys
“Yeah, yeah, yeah!” Danny laughs off
She glares at him then joins in on the laughing. “All right, well we’re going…” Xander says as he picks up Mason to kiss him goodbye
“Be good!” Haylee warns him
“Love you too, babe.” He snickers
I kiss Auggie. ‘Behave.’ I sign
He rolls his eyes and signs ‘I’ll try.’
He hands me Oliver then leaves with the other guys. “Doesn’t seem fair does it?” Ami asks as she rocks three week old Dax in her arms
I laugh and say “You slowly get used to it.”
“Sure, okay.” She says sarcastically
We go into the living room with all the other girls. I see Kandace braiding Anna Beth’s hair. “I’m gonna look like a princess?” Anna Beth asks her
“More than you do already.” Kandace tells her
“Yay!”
Anne Marie’s showing Phoebe her collection of Barbie’s. “This one’s hair turns purple if you get it wet.” Anne Marie tells Phobe
“Oh, wow. That’s really cool, Annie.”
“I know.”
Oliver just sits in the corner of the room looking real bored. “I’m sorry, little dude.” I say as I go over to him
“I just don’t get it! I’m five years old and Daddy treats me like I’m Hayden.” He sighs sadly
“If you want, I can put a Pokemon movie on in my room?” I offer him
“I guess that could help….Can I have some chocolate milk too?”
“Of course, let me just go put Hayden down and I’ll be right back.”
“Okay, thanks mommy.”
“Welcome little dude.”
I go over to Haylee and hand her my two month old son. “I’ll be right back.” I tell her
“Oh, take all the time you want. I love holding him and Dax.” She laughs as she snuggles Hayden
I go over to Oliver and pick him up. “Ugh, little dude. You’re just getting so big!” I exclaim
“I know, soon I’m gonna be taller than you!” He laughs as I pour him a cup of Chocolate Milk
“I’ll be so sad the day that happens.” I say as I hand him the cup
“Why, Mommy?”
“Because that’ll mean you’re all grown up!”
“It’s okay, because you’re my mommy and I’ll love you for ever!”
“You are just the cutest and sweetest little dude ever!” I laugh as I wipe the tears away
I put him on my and Auggie’s bed and kiss his forehead. I turn the TV on then put the DVD in. “Okay, call me if you need me.” I tell him
“I will.”
I leave him to go down stairs with the girls. They’re watching Warm Bodies and sitting down on all the blankets and pillows on the ground. “Does anyone want anything while I’m in the kitchen?” I ask her
