BEEP BEEP BEEP BEE-

Darryl shut the alarm off and wiped the tears from his eyes.No matter how many times he had that dream,it got him.

Everytime.

He grabbed his cane,and walked to the bathroom.After completing his morning routine,he put on his work coat and hat,grabbed his keys and limped out  the door.

 He made his way to the familiar flower shop.

 "Hello,Niki." Darryl said.

 "Hi,Darryl!" Darryl handed her a 50$ bill and,like usual,said "keep the change." 

Niki smiled sadly and handed him his usual order,2 white roses.

 "Thank you very much." He said camly,walking away.

Upon reaching his destination,He placed the roses at there graves.And sat at the familar bench,placing his cane next to him.

 He didnt say anything.He only looked.

He had told them everything there was to know.

He stayed there for 10 more minutes,before checking his watch and sighing.

He had to get something to drink\eat before going to work.

He waved goodbye,and then made his way to his once least favorite cafe.Now,it was his favorite.

 "Hello,Darryl!What can I get you?" Puffy said.She knew what he was going to get.But she always asked,Hoping that one day,he may change his mind.

 "One black coffee,please." Bad said nonchalantly.

 "Anything else?" she said hopefully.

 "No.That will be all." Bad replied.

Puffy smiled sadly. "It will be out in a minute." she said walking away.

His coffee came out,and he began to sip on it thoughtfully.

When he had finished and paid,he threw his cup away and walked across the street to where he worked.

 "....so yeah." Sam finished.

 "excuse me?" Darryl said. "the fudge are you talking about!?" He growled.

Sam sighed. "your gonna train him.Whether you like it or not." he said.

 "Ive been doing this job for 6 years now.Ive been your best investigator for years and you want me to stop, just to train a hopless case!?"Darryl seethed.
