Chapter 2-Music

     "Ahh!" I was jolted awake because of a loud noise I just heard. It appears I startled Blaise awake too. He has always been a light sleeper.

     "What in the bloody hell!? Why'd you bolt up while screaming like a little girl?"

     "I was not screaming like a little girl! Ma-"

     "Would you both shut up! Why are you two yelling?"

     "We're not yelling!!" Blaise and I say at the same time to Theo.

     "You all of you guys are yelling," Mattheo said. And if we woke Mattheo up, then we should watch our backs because that means Tom is up, and he'll get revenge on us for waking him up.

     "What's all this about?" Tom said, confirming my suspicions.

     "He screamed like a little girl and woke me up," Blaise instantly said.

     "I did not!"

     I saw Blaise was about to rebuttal my claim before Tom told him to be quiet. Wisely shutting up, we waited to see what else Tom would say.

     "Care to explain why you woke up screaming at four in the morning?"

     "I heard a loud noise which turned out to be my soulmate."

     "Why? What is she doing listing to music this early in the morning?" Blaise said

     "I don't know. I don't even know who she is. She might not even be a witch."

     "You know she's a witch. You just don't know which hot witch she is," Theo said

     "Why don't we just get ready to go to breakfast, and we can just hang out in the common room," Mattheo suggested.

     We all agreed and started to get ready. When one person was ready, they would head to the common room. Once we were all there, we went to the dining hall where no one was because it was 4:30 and reasonable people don't wake up this early.

     "Your soulmate has a lot of problems to willing wake up this early," Theo stated. We all agreed as we headed into the kitchen.

     "One good thing out of this is we know where the kitchen is," Blaise said, with Mattheo agreeing.

     When we finished breakfast, we started walking around the castle to explore. We've found some hidden passages that make getting to lessons much easier. While looking around, we were walking down a corridor we'd never seen before, and it seemed like no one ever used it.

     We were talking about how abandoned the corridor was until Tom pointed out a figure sitting on a window seal. We stopped walking to see who it was and why it seemed like they hadn't heard us. We were pretty loud.

     As we walked closer, we saw that it was a girl, pacifically, the weird mute girl that is always doodling in class. I don't even know her name. But she didn't notice us until we were beside her.

     She jumped a little and took her headphone out. When she did that, the music in my left ear, the same ear she took her headphone out of, disappeared too....

     No, no, no, no. She can't be my soulmate. She's too weird to be. Why would the universe curse me with her as my soulmate? I need to figure out how to change my soulmate or something.
