After my last class, I made my way down to the second-floor bathroom the Martly hung around in. When I entered, I saw Riddle standing there. I slowly walked in, not knowing what he was going to do.

"Don't worry. I'm not going to hurt you."

     "Are you alone?"

     "Yes."

"And did you tell anyone else about what you found?"

     "No."

I looked at Riddle's face briefly to see if he was lying. I didn't see a lie, so I relaxed a little.

"How did you figure it out?"

Instead of answering me, he walked over to a sink and made a hissing noise. The sink began to move till there was an opening into a dark pit. He stepped closer, then said, "Follow."

I thought about not following him, but I needed to get the answers to my questions, so there was no other option than to follow him.

Jumping down, I thought I was going to crash into the floor when magic slowed my fall. I stepped onto the floor and saw Riddle standing there, watching me.

     "Most scream while they fall."

"You bring many people down here?"

He started walking down the tunnel. I followed after him when we came up on a giant door. There are seven snakes on the door when Riddle, once again, made the hissing noise. One by one, the snakes slithered away from their positions and the door opened.

We walked in and I saw a massive room with snake statues lining the wall and a rock structure at the end of the walkway surrounded by water. There were two tunnels on either side of me, so I knew if I needed to escape, I had a slight chance.

He walked towards the rock wall and sat on the couch he conjured up. I made my own seat in front of him, immediately asked, "How did you find out?"

He pulled out a diary that looked just like mine.

"Twins," I whispered under my breath.

     "I found out last night."

"But you've been reading it ever since I've been writing."

"Yes. If you don't have something on top of the book, it will open and flip to the page you're writing on."

"How come I haven't seen you write anything in yours?"

"I bought it, then forgot about it. I just never took it out of my bag."

I nodded while thinking about what to do.

"I won't tell anyone, but I would like to keep reading it. Your story is extremely disturbing, but I know it helps to get it out."

I thought about it before saying, "Alright. But if you tell someone, I will kill you and that person you told. You know I've killed before."

     "Of course."

We sat silently for a few seconds when a basilisk came out of nowhere. I immediately looked down and stood up. I was about to run when Tom let out some more hisses. The snake slithered away, and I looked at him with confusion.

     "I'll explain."

     "You better."
