Ben 10: Marvelverse

Chapter 14: The Tennysons

"I haven't seen my grandson in nearly 10 years." Max explained. Everyone seemed shocked by this statement.

"Wait. Why haven't you seen Ben in 10 years?" Ben 10 asked. Max looked at Ben 10. 

"He ran away." Max said. 

"Why would he run away?" Ben asked. Max sighed. 

"I don't have the time. I have to find Ben. I told his parents that i had found him. They'll be here any minute." Max said destroyed. 

"Actually, you're Ben is here with us." Benjamin said. Max looked at him hopeful. "He's the one who found all of us and gathered us together before bringing us here. Admittedly he got us all together to try and send us all back home. That didn't exactly work out though, so when it was apparent that we were stuck here he gave us a place to stay here at the school." Benjamin explained. 

"We can take you too him. I'm pretty sure i saw him go down to the danger room earlier." Ben 23 said. Just then a car started to arrive. Max looked back to recognize his son's vehicle. Max looked at them all again.

"Please.... I need to see him again." Max said. 

After Max's son and daughter-in-law were told of the situation the professor lead them to the basement elevator. Once in the basement Xavier started to lead the Tennysons to the danger room. There they stopped at the door leading into the room as they heard a large roar before there was a tremor. The Tennysons looked around in worry. 

"What was that!?" Sandra Tennyson asked. Ben 23 looked at the door to the danger room. 

"I think Ben's a little upset right now." Ben 23 said. 

"That was.... Ben?" Carl Tennyson asked.

"Yeah. By the sounds of it he's probably wailing on the danger rooms punching bag scenario. I'd hate be the punching bag." Benjamin said with a painful grimace. 

"Why don't we go in first and get his attention." Ben 10k said as he went to the door. Opening it they found Ben as fourarms pounding away at a hard light punching bag. The banging could be heard from across the room. 

"Oh he is sooo mad." Gwen said seeing how hard he was hitting the punching bag. She had a scared expression you'd see on a child who just got into trouble. 

"i'll take care of it." Ben 10k said as he stepped forward. "Hey, Ben!" He called. Ben didn't hear him. "Hey Ben!!!" Ben 10 yelled. Ben punched one more time with thunderous force before turning to Ben 10k. 

"What?" Ben asked obviously not wanting to talk with his alternate future. Ben turned back to the punching bag ready to start up again. 

"We have some visitors." Ben 10k said getting Ben's attention. He walked over to the others. 

"So?" Ben asked. Ben 10k nodded as they all stepped aside and Ben's parents and grandfather stepped forward. However Max stopped when he saw Ben. He didn't recognize Ben, however he did recognize that what stood before him was a Tetramand.

"Ben?" Sandra asked as she stepped forward. "Ben is that you?" She asked. She reached out to touch ben ben he stepped back. This seemed to hurt Sandra. As Ben stepped back he began shapeshift into big chill. Cloaked Ben stood tall as he growled and unfurled his wings. Ben then got low before he jumped into the air using his wings at the same time to launch him into the air toward the ceiling. When he reached it he became invisible and passed through the ceiling. The Tennysons all stared at the ceiling where Ben had disappeared into. 

"How did he do that?" Carl asked confused. Max said nothing as he too stared at the others for explanation. 

"I guess this is more complicated then we thought." Ben 10k said.
