CHAPTER 41

AUTHOR 'S POV

"I told you! I told you that you would enjoy being in power, didn't I? The chairman and also the lovely father of Vikram said his voice being excited at the thought of his son finally agreeing to participate in the election.

Vikram wanted to turn around and walk away but he stood there like how a  normal student would - with his hands folded and I'd card around his neck, eyes focused on his father aka chairman

"Alright! Now fill out this form and start the campaign as soon as you can and make sure you win nah I will make sure you win! !" His father said

"I wanna participate in this election on one condition!" Vikram said after being silent for a while

"And that is?"

"You won't interfere or help me with this! In any form! Promise me that" Vikram said, his voice as cold as the ice

His father raised his eyebrows with a slight dirty smirk on his face.

"Fill out the form and get back" his father said and Vikram collected the papers and marched out from his cabin.

"The election is less than two weeks sir! How is Vikram sir going win?" Chakravarthy's assistant asked

He looked at him and yet again smirked!

"Do what I say! And watch my son win the election" Chakravarthy said

"But the promise...."

"DO WHAT I SAID!"

Vikram walked outside his class after filling out the form,his eyes mercilessly searching all around the college to find her, his hands itching to call her, his feet tapping the ground.

Finding her nowhere around, Vikram knew Aishwarya would probably be in the canteen or in the garden area and he immediately rushed there.

Only to be stopped by the sight of Aishwarya! She was wearing a brown tee and a cream colour skirt, looking like a fish out of the water, Vikram noticed she was not alone and he tried to look at the people who gave her company and it was madan!

Unknown reason or maybe a very known reason! Vikram felt his heart drop to his tummy watching her smile with him.

Madan who happened to turn around saw Vikram standing there looking at him and Aishwarya! His cunning mind cooking plans to make it more  miserable for him.

"I'll get you a coke!" He said walking towards the canteen and Aishwarya followed him.

She turned around one time to find Vikram but since she was kinda blind (Sarcastic tho) she did not find Vikram

But Vikram saw her looking around and assumed she saw him yet ignored him

And to Aishwarya! She knew Vikram would be here in any minute and she would easily escape from this guy who was talking and talking.

Vikram sat there on the canteen bench looking at the form in his hand and his phone ringing
It was from Arjun!

Sighing he attended the call!

"Fuck! You signed up for the election?" Arjun yelled

"I told you already about it Arjun!"

"Vikram you gone pretend you're not Vikram Chakravarthy for how long? Damn if she finds out? Trust me she is a cylinder and she will blast "Arjun yelled from the other side Vikram ended the call and pushed their phone back into his pocket

That was an issue he had to think about the other day! Now he had to deal with his tummy burn seeing her with his only enemy in the college.

Vikram knew Madan was provoking him after knowing he signed up for the election but then he felt frustration and much more after all he was a human and he stood up to leave when Harini and Hema walked into and sat at his table chair

"Vikram! Uncle sent us here we have been appointed to help you out there are two people for the other team also! He told us to in front of u that this is nothing special " Hema said and Harini nodded her head

"Fine, what now!" He asked and Harini pulled out a paper and started explaining things to him

When Aishwarya and Madan walked out of the canteen and just like that Aishwarya immediately found Vikram sitting along with her cousins Harini and Hema.

The way she wanted to carry her sandals and run around the campus throwing them at Vikram.
She thought this man would show up inside the canteen and take her away but then he sat outside the canteen with two women chit-chatting making her blood boil in anger.

"Madan!" She called and he turned around and smiled at her

"Yes Aishu, he said, his voice causing goosebumps in her and making her heart go Lup tup

"I need to go check on Vikram! Byee" she said quickly walking towards Vikram making Madan smile

"Hey Ram" she called and Vikram immediately looked up at her and then looked down at the paper Hema was explaining.

Ouch! That hurts!

"Can't you see he is busy with election work Aishwarya!" Harini said and Aishwarya almost forgot she existed before she talked

"Right!" She said and accidentally dropped her bag down on the ground and knees down to pick up her things.

Vikram was aware of everything happening, once Aishwarya picked her things up she stood for a minute hoping Vikram would call her back and inform her that he is in the election but nope he was too focused on that damn paper and Aishwarya had no other way but to wonder and slowly walk back.

"Harini!" Vikram called

'yes vikram"

"Consider this being the last time you're being mean to Aishwarya!" He said and stood up to leave
