Jennie has never been the athletic type. Like she owns a gym and she works out so she has good endurance and all that but she's not really fast. So even in this instance, where she's running after a clearly distressed chaeyoung. She's having a hard time keeping up with chaeyoung who runs past the gardens and into the woods.

The brunette has been practically enjoying the wedding, with terse threatening to form in her eyes as she watches her best friend wed the man that had mended her broken heart after some girl broked it. They'd spent countless hours preparing for the wedding making sure every detail is to chaeyoung's ( mom) liking and jennie was heavily invested on this wedding.

She met chaeyoung shortly after she'd breakup with jisoo when she had first attended the gym jennie owns. They immediately bonded as chaeyoung spent her most of her time in gym after college. She always admired her for her passion on work.

She'd learned all there is to be learned about jisoo, chaeyoung's first and ultimate love. The one that showed what live is but also singlehandedly responsible for breaking her. She was there with all those mourning phases.
She was glad to see after long phase chaeyoung was finally moving on and dating Jonathan even her parents approved.

She thought everything was finally working out. There were a couple of time where chaeyoung had shown doubt about the wedding but she'd quickly recover and assured jennie multiple times when she asked. Perhaps she should have paid more attention. So she can't really say she's all that surprised that the wedding hasn't pushed through. She had a feeling that even if that girl hadn't stoodup, chaeyoung was still going to be runaway bride.

Still, did this whole thing have to be so dramatic?

She didn't know what to expect when she spotted the green-eyed girl in the crowd looking nervous and seemingly on the verge of throwing up, but never in a million years did she expect that she would try to stop the wedding.

It wasn't hard to notice her. Her beauty radiated and stood in stark to a seemingly plain and boring crowd. Jennie remembers how the girl's tuxedos were so right looking on her, showing all perfect curves with pale skin and bright green doe eyes along with a well defined jawline, seemingly sculptured by Gods themselves. Simple yet elegant.

She was too busy ogling the girl that she had nearly missed all of chaeyoung's walk to the altar. She really should have know chaeyoung was anything but okay. It is not easy for chaeyoung, growing up with strict parents whose expectations were always beyond chaeyoung.

So when some random girl stood up to voice her objection to the wedding, chaeyoung can't say she didn't felt relieved, like somebody had stopped her from walking to gallows and she can't bring herself to feel guilty for feeling like that.

The relief was short-lived when it becomes clear that jisoo was the reason some crazy girl was trying to ruin the wedding. All those emotions she had suppressed in all these years came out in a surge, overwhelming her and on top of that finding out her soon-to-be husband had some girl pregnant finally broke the camel's back as they say. So she didn't knew what to do other than run.

After trekking through the small forest that borders the area right outside of the hall for what seems like hours but was only 20 minutes, lisa finally spots the runaway bride sat on a log. Next to her is the beautiful brunette bridesmaid that lisa was busy gawking at during the ceremony. She seems to be effectively consoling her friend and lisa is just happy that she doesn't seem to be taking it too bad considering the circumstances. Atleast chaeyoung has someone she could turn to when things get out of hands.

Lisa stayed out of their sight but keeps her eye on them trying to figure out to talk to chaeyoung without the girl immediately kicking her ass or so equally painful.
