The wedding is beautiful, rivaling chaeyoung's first almost- wedding, Lisa thinks. It's an outside wedding tucked in the luscious garden deep in Long Island, the venue only a few yards away front the seaside.

The affairs has a pastel colour motif, the entourage dressed in light blues and soft hues as the afternoon sun shines delicately over the entire scene, the sky clear and the weather warm - the perfect spring wedding. The guests are dressed in semi formal, the men in white button up shirt and sand-colour khaki, same as Lisa while the women opt for relaxed, flowy maxi dresses and sandals,  same as Jennie. The bride herself is in a simple yet classy dress.

The whole event has a pervading serene atmosphere - It's unpretentious yet elegant - quite unlike the types of wedding Lisa had seen growing up.

Her girl is standing amongst the bridesmaid, donned in knee-length flowy haltered dress wih an airy appeal, her entire back, down to just above her butt is exposed in net and of everyone weren't so focused in the bride, they'd surely be looking at her. Lisa definitely is.

She's got the softest smile on her face,
Subtle tears in her eyes as she watches Irene and her soon-to-be husband exchange heartfelt vows and Lisa just wants to go up an give her the biggest hug. Her heart drums in her chest as she pictures Jennie at the altar - where Lisa thinks she fits so beautifully. Perhaps if Lisa wasn't so scared, she'd be able to give Jennie that as well.

The reception is as simple and beautiful as the ceremony. It's held at the open venue where guests can freely roam and explore the beach or go back inside and take advantage of open bar and after a few shots of liquid courage, maybe dare the dance floor.

Jennie floats around different table, catching up with various relatives and endless chatter and tips while Lisa dutifully stays by her side.

The brunette watches in awe at the way Lisa effortlessly charms her way into the hearts of her family members, speaking perfect Korean to her ajummas and ajhussis, talking sport with her adult cousins and the one that tugs at her heart the most - dancing with her younger cousins, nieces and nephews on the dance floor, making sure everyone gets a turn with her as she gracefully leads them all the while laughing and giggling without a worry in the world.

After Jennie has managed to drag Lisa away from the kids, not before coaxing and bribery, they found themselves talking with the bride herself, Jennie's mom and few other aunts and cousins. They talk about usual things - how everyone is doing with college or their jobs or in their love lives, as the adult in the circle find a way to get the younger ones admit to when they're supposed to settle down, no doubt using the current situation to segue into the topics like marriage and kids.

"So when is it going to be your guy's turn?" Lisa and Jennie snap out of their bubble when they realise the question is being directed towards then. They had sort of zoned out of the conversation for a while now, choosing to get lost in each other's smiles, having their own personal conversation while whispering into each other's ears, seemingly aware of everyone around them - they look like the epitome of love.

So one of the bridesmaid who asked the question, can't really be blames for bringing up the topic. She couldn't have known that Lisa and Jennie had no plans to get married. Looking at the two of them and seeing how easily they can get lost in each other - No one could have known.

"Umm.." Lisa clears her throat and tries to steady her voice. Jennie can feel her girlfriend tense up, her grip tight on the brunette's hand and her eyes darting anywhere but the small crowd around them.

The brunette then tugs on Lisa's hand to get her attention and lightly rubs her thumbs against the other girl's knuckles. When Lisa's panicked eyes meets hers, she gives her a soft smile - one that says it's okay. We're okay. And the brunette can see how the tension slightly subsides from the girl's features. She decides to answer for both of them, making sure to meet her family's and friends eyes and to keep her voice steady as she speaks.
