"She still hasn't responded?' Lisa carefully asks around a mouthfuls of cereal as she sits across from a dejected Jisoo on their breakfast table.

It's been two weeks since the whole wedding ordeal and things have died down for the most part, except Jisoo has received nothing but radio silence from chaeyoung. After lisa successfully escaped the venue and the warth of chaeyoung's family for disrupting the most important day in their lives, she quickly contact Jisoo and relayed everything that happened to her.

Although Jisoo feels that she should have been relieved that wedding didn't push through, she couldn't help but feel devastated at how everything unfolded. Hearing about chaeyoung in years made her heart constrict in the most painful ways and she knows how must the girl probably is devastated to know the person she trusted turned out to be cheating asshole.

"No." Jisoo shakes her head silently as she pokes and prods on her cereals not really in the mood to eat anything. "God, this is so fucked up. I mean I want her back, but...ugh!" She slumps her forhead into her forearms on the table and groans.

"Hey," lisa reaches out to console her best friend as she pats her shoulder comfortingly. "She had to process a lot of things, just give her time, okay?"

"I just want to talk to her, you know?" Jisoo says as she looks up at lisa. "If she wants to give us a chance then find. If she wants to never see me again it's fine or will be fine as well, but I just want to talk even if to end things once for all. So we can both get the closer we deserve."

"You'd be okay with that?"

"With what?"

"If she asks to cut everything off between you both?"

Jisoo pauses for a moment but sits up and nod her solemnly. "Yeah. At this point if I am the cause of her pain, I am willing to let her go. If that's what she wants."

"Damn. Kim, this girl really did a number on you." Lisa shakes her head with light smile.

"Yeah. Well." Jisoo shakes her head as well with small laugh. "Anyway, enough about my failed love. Did anything else interesting happened at the wedding?"

Lisa quirks an eyebrow and after swallowing a spoonful of her cereal says, "you mean aside from the whole baby momma debacle and some strange girl stopped a wedding for her best friend not actually for herself?"

Jisoo rolls her eyes. "I already know I own you a huge favour, lisa." She takes few seconds and responds genuinely. "But, seriously thanks." She says with a small smile. "And I promise, I will make it up to you one day."

"I'll keep that in mind." Lisa responds with a smile of her own. Her mind briefly goes back to the brunette that kept her attention even in the midst of trying to stop someone else's wedding and she can't help but to smile to herself at the memory. Jisoo watches her with piqued interest noting the change in expression.

The doe-eyed girl fells jisoo nudge her foot and she looks up at the smirking girl. "So, something else did happen, huh?"

"What? No, nothing else happened," she squeaks out.

"Oh come on lisa." Jisoo laughs lightly. "Have you forgotten just how well we know each other? Just say it already, will ya?"

"I mean nothing really- it wasn't like...um.." Lisa runs a hand through her hair nervously and tries to calm her suddenly racing heart. "Chaeyoung's...friend is really.....feisty."
She settles for the word and shrugs, hoping to come off as nonchalance.

"Oh God manoban. You're unbelievable." Jisoo shakes her head and clicks her tongue in mock disapproval.

"What?"
