Do you feel sad as we depart?
Does loneliness kick in?
Do you feel like being apart
Brings sorrow deep within?
I feel the same, believe me.
I'll miss you every evening
And dream of you all night
Basking in your light.
But dreams cannot replace you
The sorrow, it will stay.
And one day it will be you
I'll hopefully meet someday.
