Tw: Torture, gore, violence

Saida heaved in heavy breaths as the whip cracked down on her back, yet she didn't let out any sounds. Bluki wasn't even watching her, he was talking with a bounty hunter as she was tortured on the steps to his throne.

The whip shredded through her skin again and she hissed at the excruciating pain that it brought her. Saida could feel the blood dripping from her wounds.

Saida finally cried out in pain as the whip came down once more, and she couldn't stay quiet anymore. She grit her teeth and locked eyes with the man with the whip in his hands and silently dared him to do it again.

He grinned at her and lifted the weapon to strike her once more.

"Enough," Bluki eventually raised his hand and ended the torture session. "Bring her to her room. She must've learned her lesson."

Saida was dragged off to her room, seeing spots and stars. She was roughly thrown into the room and she looked up, expecting to see her sister's worried eyes.

But her sister wasn't there.

Saida weakly lifted her head to scan the room, not spotting her sister anywhere.

She cursed that sleemo hutt, wondering where her sister was.

Then she passed out.

When she came to, the bleeding had slowed to a slow ooze, and there was a set of fresh clothes on the bed. She changed into the new outfit and waited at the door for someone to get her, just as it went every time she returned.

Saida knew the routine.

A heavily armed woman came to the door and grabbed Saida's arm, hauling her out. She escorted Saida back to Bluki's throne room, where Saida sat down quietly at the foot of the stairs.

Bluki continued along with his business until he seemed to finally notice Saida.

"Ah, Saida," Bluki said. "I trust you're enjoying your stay as you wait for your next assignment?"

"Yes my lord," Saida kept her head down. "But I couldn't help but notice that my sister wasn't in our room."

"Oh yes," Bluki realized. "We returned her to her masters."

"What?" Saida's head shot up as she stared a him in disbelief. "But we made a deal with you! If I completed the jobs for you, we'd stay safe and wouldn't be returned!"

"They had a high price for her," Bluki shrugged. "But not for you."

Tears came to Saida's eyes, and her throat ached.

But she promised herself a long time ago that she wouldn't cry in front of him.

So she returned her gaze to the floor and muttered her apologies for making a ruckus.

The day went along its usual track from then with Saida sitting there silently, and everyone pretending they couldn't see her. She imagined how she would kill them if she could, but she knew they had the upper hand, since they were actually armed.

"How did your mission go to kill the senator?" Bluki asked later on.

Saida opened her mouth to answer when the doors burst open and the Bad Batch stormed in.

"Bluki the Hutt, you are hereby under arrest for attempted assassination of a senator of the Republic!" Hunter announced, with his blaster raised. "Either surrender or be executed!"

"You didn't kill the senator?" Bluki rounded on Saida with a furious expression.

"Saida?" Wrecker lowered his blaster by a fraction. "What are you doing here?"

"Attack!" Bluki ordered, and his whole court ascended into chaos.

Saida slipped through the fight, trying to escape, when someone grabbed her arm and pulled her to their side.

"What are you doing?" Crosshair hissed at her and shot someone who tried to hit Tech from behind.

"Let go of me!" Saida tried to tug her arm from his grasp, but was too weak to do so.

"Come on," Crosshair pulled her along with him as he reached Hunter's side.

"Saida?" Hunter looked at her for a second before continuing blasting. "What are you doing?"

"I came to get my sister," Saida tearfully said. "She's gone though. Bluki sold her."

"We'll get Tech to track her down," Hunter promised. "Here's a blaster. Go shoot some people."

Hunter handed her a spare weapon and Saida eagerly began killing the people who had imprisoned her and her sister for so many years. A bolt grazed her side, so she shot the person who shot it.

She saw Hunter shoot Bluki, and then the bounty hunters retreated, as their employer was dead.

"This is gonna make so much paperwork," Hunter groaned as he kicked Bluki's arm.

"I didn't get ta blow anythin' up!" Wrecker complained.

Crosshair was about to smack Wrecker's arm when he noticed the injury on Saida's side. He grabbed the bacta spray from the medpac and began to treat her, much to her displeasure.

"Any other wounds?" Crosshair raised an eyeborw at her.

"Nope," Saida shook her head.

Crosshair looked to Tech, who motioned to Saida's back.

"Dammit how'd you know that?" Saida cursed.

"Blood is currently leaking through your shirt," Tech observed.

Crosshair rolled his eyes and began to treat that too as Hunter walked up to Saida.

"Do you want Tech to see if he can find your sister?" Hunter offered. "He could track down the sale on the dark side of the holonet."

"He wouldn't be able to find her. I already know where she is," Saida sighed.

"I could find her!" Tech protested. "My skills are unmatched."

"Fine," Saida rolled her eyes. "You can try I guess."

"What's her name?" Tech asked, typing into his datapad.

"Her name is Omega," Saida told him.
