I was struck by inspiration and did a double update.
Tw: Blood.
"-and again," Nala Se ordered.
Saida winced as she punched, her bleeding fist throbbing as it made contact with the training droid.
Nala Se examined the damage done this time. "Disappointing. Do better."
"How am I supposed to do better?" Saida exclaimed, angry tears coming to her eyes. "Just asmit that you made a mistake!"
"We never make mistakes," Nala Se coldly said. "You are not trying hard enough."
Saida silently nodded, letting a tear run off her face.
"Dismissed," Nala Se said, gliding away.
Saida was escorted back to her cell, and given nothing to fix the bleeding.
"Saida!" Tech whispered.
Saida looked around wildly. "Tech?"
"Above you!" Tech quietly said.
Saida looked up to see Tech hanging from an air vent.
"What are you doing?" She hissed.
"Rescuing you!" Tech told her. "Now grab my hand and I'll lift you out."
She grabbed the offered hand, and was lifted out of the cell, into the air vents.
"Follow me," Tech whispered and led them through the vents.
They reached an exit and tumbled out into the open, falling at the feet at the Bad Batch.
"Omega's still in there!" Saida told them, pointing in the direction she had come from.
"No she isn't," Hunter shook his head. "We got her out first. She's waiting at the ship."
"Thanks!" Saida gratefully said.
"We're planning on hiding on Coruscant until the steam blows off and we can continue with our missions," Crosshair told her. "You... want to come with us, or should we drop you off somewhere?"
"I think I'll tag along for now," Saida decided.
"Great!" Wrecker smiled.
"We'll hang out there for a couple rotations," Crosshair told her as they sprinted for the ship.
"Sounds good," Saida said.
Tech quickly fired up the engines as flew them away, while Omega gave Saida a big hug.
"Saida!" Omega exclaimed.
"Hey, Omega," Saida squeezed her tightly.
"Why is your fist bloody?" Crosshair asked her, interrupting the hug.
"No reason," Saida mumbled and hid it behind her back.
"Let's get it treated," Crosshair motioned for her to step forward and pulled out some bacta.
Saida let him apply the bacta, wincing as it stung. He chuckled under his breath, making her glare at him.
"Come on, Omega," Saida said once he was done, "we'll find you a place to sleep."
