I haven't updated this in several months :O woah

"And what is her last name?" Tech asked, still staring at his datapad.

"She doesn't have one," Saida told him.

Tech looked up in disbelief. "She doesn't have a last name?"

"Nope," Saida confirmed.

"How is that possible?" Hunter raised an eyebrow. "I thought all nat-borns got their last name from their parents?"

Saida snorted. "Nat-born?"

"Born naturally. Didn't come from a tube," Crosshair explained.

Saida sighed. "Omega is a clone of Jango Fett."

"Wait..." Crosshair frowned. "You said she's your sister. That would make you a clone too."

"I am," Saida nodded. "But not one of Jango Fett. I am a clone of someone else. I just consider Omega my sister."

"Who?" Wrecker asked.

"I don't know," Saida shrugged. "And I don't really care. What difference would it make?"

"You're not curious?" Tech furrowed his brow.

"Not really," Saida shrugged again. "All that matters to me now is getting Omega back."

"And where would she be?" Crosshair asked hesitantly, although he already knew the answer.

"Kamino," Saida gravely said.

"That is not ideal," Tech put his datapad down. "Once the Kaminoans take someone into their captivity, you never see them again."

"You think I don't know that?" Saida hissed. "How many of my sisters do you think I've lost? Omega is the last family I have left, even if we're not actually sisters."

"Hey," Hunter said. "We understand wanting to save family, but we can't just go against the Kaminoans. I have my own family to think about."

"But I can't just leave her with the Kaminoans!" Saida protested.

"That's not what I was saying. I was just saying I can't risk losing my brothers to the Kaminoans. They'd recondition us," Hunter sighed.

"Then I'll just save her myself," Saida crossed her arms.

"We're going to Kamino soon. You can come with us and we'll drop you off to save your sister," Hunter decided.

"We're just leaving her?" Crosshair glanced at Saida. "We're not helping her?"

"Crosshair, i can't put this whole squad in danger," Hunter crossed his arms. "I have to think about what's best for all of us."

"And the best for all of us is leaving our vod behind?" Crosshair raised his eyebrows.

"Oh yeah," Wrecked realized. "Omega is our vod!"

Hunter hesitated before saying, "Fine. We'll go and save her."

"Yay!" Saida cheered and hugged the person closest to her, who just happened to be Crosshair. "Thank you!"

Crosshair awkwardly hugged her back. "No problem."

"If we are to rescue Omega, we will first need to know where in Kamino she is," Tech spoke up. "How will we manage that?"

"I have a plan," Saida raised her hand.

"Does it involve explosives?" Wrecker eagerly asked.

"No."

"Aww," Wrecker looked sad.

"You turn me in, the Kaminoans take me to where Omega is because they experiment on us both, and then you track my location," Saida suggested.

"They experiment on a child?" Hunter looked alarmed.

"We know that already," Tech reminded him and pulled up the sleeve of his blacks, where a scar ran up the side of his arm.

Hunter rubbed at his temples. "Alright, we'll go with your plan Saida."

"We're just... letting her be experimented on?" Crosshair put a toothpick in his mouth.

"Hopefully it won't get to that point. But if it does, I can take care of myself," Saida raised her head to look him in the eyes. "Do you think I can't handle a bit of pain? Must I remind you of what I've been through?"

"That's not what I'm saying," Crosshair stepped closer to her. "You were just injured recently. Do you think it's safe to be throwing yourself black out there?"

"I got some bacta. I'll be fine," Saida glared at him.

"Actually..." Tech trailed off when they both glowered at him.

Saida poked Crosshairs chest. "Don't tell me hat I can and can't do."

"I'm not telling you what to do, I'm just reminding you that you nearly died recently," Crosshair flicked the toothpick to the other side of his mouth.

"I didn't nearly die!" Saida snapped. "I just bled a little!"

"A little?" Crosshair dryly laughed. "You ruined your shirt!"

"Thanks for letting me borrow yours by the way!" Saida turned to Tech.

Tech awkwardly smiled. "It is no problem."

"Will you two stop fighting?" Hunter broke it up.

"Yeah!" Wrecker agreed. "It's making Lula upset!"

"Let's just get this over with," Crosshair pushed past Saida. "Then everything can go back to normal."

Saida gave his retreating form the finger and sat down with a huff. Wrecker plopped down next to her and gave her a big smile. Saida sighed and leaned her head against his shoulder, trying to get some rest.

Hunter followed Crosshair.

"What's wrong with you?" Hunter grabbed Crosshairs shoulder and turned him to face him.

"Nothing!" Crosshair angrily said. "I'm just done with her! She doesn't think about how hurt she is!"

"Since when do you care about people who aren't on the squad?" Hunter demanded.

Crosshair stayed silent and looked to the floor.

"Wait," a smirk slowly came to Hunter's face. "Do you like her?"

"No!" Crosshair glared at Hunter. "I find her irritating."

"Mhm," Hunter crossed his arms with an amused smile.

"I don't!" Crosshair scowled.

"Right," Hunter nodded, not believing him for a minute.

Crosshair pursed his lips for a moment before blowing out a heavy breath. "Fine. Maybe a little."

"Ha! I knew it!" Hunter laughed.

"Shut up!" Crosshair smacked Hunter's shoulder. "Don't let the whole galaxy know!"

"We have arrived," Tech loudly announced, breaking up Crosshair and Hunter's little moment.

And so they landed in the hanger, and put Saida in binders. Tech slipped a tracker into the pocket of her pants.

Then they walked off the ship, ready to put their plan in action.

Mando'a translations:

Vod~~~~~ Sister

Vod has two meanings, sister and brother, and vod'ika means little brother or little sister. I believe that Ahsoka is the Vod'ika to all the clones, even if they're chronically younger than her.
