AUTHOR 'S POV

"No, but I swear bro is interested in you!" Keerthana said and Aditi nodded

"Yep! I at least knew him for two years Riya but then him and teasing? And that too out from him boy gang? Very rare and almost close to impossible " Aditi said and Kiki nodded

"You don't know how he looks at you, woman!" Kiki said and Riya looked at her and raised her eyebrows

"He looks at you like he doesn't wanna look away " Aditi answered the unasked question

Unlike the other times, Aishwarya was now silent and was lost in thoughts, Things that happened in the college today made her mind a chaos and she did not even know what and why and how she would explain this feeling to her friends.

Just when Riyaz's phone pinged with a message from the dev!

"Hey! Bring the lyrics book tomorrow " - Dev

Riya read it out loud, kiki and Aditi looked at each other biting their nails

"Say him you won't" keerthana suggested and Riya sent him

"I know you will bring! You're a good girl! *Puppy eye emoji* " - dev

And ladies and gentlemen, this was another moment Riya felt her heart melt like a fucking ice cream.

"Fine"- Riya said and looked at her friends who had a blank face

"I understand! But that guy is interested in you" Kiki said
And Riya nodded cause that's what she could think and do right now. After all, she had so much running in her mind.

With Sameer around her and Dev being too much around her, she was fighting for the dead love and the blooming one.

The night passed and Riya got ready quickly in a cherry red outfit, which was a long gown.

Aditi and Riya had the same class and keerthana had a different one.

Aishwarya stayed back home saying she was sick and considering how silent the house was for the past 7hrs the girls thought she was sick and let it slide.

Aditi and Riya attended the class and waited patiently for Dev to get down and collect the lyric book but he did not attend her calls nor had any signs of him coming down.

"I need to meet someone too! She is also on the 4th floor let's just go! I will meet her and you go give this to Dev" Aditi said and Riya nodded Aditi went to meet her friend and when Riya went to Dev's class he was still talking to his teacher and she started walking around the corridor waiting for him.

A few seconds passed and her phone rang it was dev!

"Hey? Where are you?" She asked

"Dumbo turn around!" He said and she did.

"Here take this book" Riya said as she placed the books in his hand

"Right! Thanks now forget these books" he said as he got into his classroom

"I'll kill you if you do something to my books! You have already folded the corners dev!" Riya yelled and Dev pretended like he was deaf.

Riya hit her forehead and went to the washroom on the same floor and came out waiting for Aditi to join her when Dev and Aravind walked towards her.

Dev had one of the lyrics book in his hand spinning it with his finger.
And the minute Dev's eyes fell on Riya, he smirked

"Aravind do you need any rough books?dev asked still spinning the book in his finger and his eyes on Riya

"What are you blabbering? Why do I need a rough book" Aravind who was clueless asked

Riya stared at Dev, she stared so hard that if looks could kill Dev would be six feet under the ground.

"Nah, bro! Like you wanna scribble? Or maybe want some papers? you can use this book it's kinda useless" Dev said provoking Riya

And Aravind being clueless about this took the book in his hand and flipped the pages

Riya immediately walked towards him and gritted her teeth.

"I will kill you with my bare hands if you don't get me back my book as fresh it was" she warned and Dev had a hard time trying not to smile but ended up laughing loud, loud enough for people to think he had lost it.

"Arhggh!" Riya said   and walked away while Dev grabbed the book from Aravind's hands and followed her back leaving a cluelessly Aravind to stand in the middle of the corridor

"Alright alright! This book was not needed! The other two are enough" he said and passed the book to her and Riya collected the book from him with still a poker face.

"Aye smile nah!" He said and Riya glared at him

"Hey, there is something in your nose!" He said and she rubbed her nose

"Ah wait imma help you!" He said and took a step forward and Riya who had a poker face all along now looked at him, since he was taller than her, she looked up and his eyes were focused on her face.

She feared that he might hear her heartbeat and to stop that she held her breath.

Dev gently punched her nose and giggled and she playfully slapped his arms.

"Arghhh!" She said and started walking away and he yet again followed her.

"You gone get me back my books tomorrow morning in my class okay?" She said still walking in the front

"Okay!"

"You're bringing it to my class okay? It's gone on being the 8th floor" she said

"I don't mind coming that far for you!" Dev said and stopped walking as she reached the stairs

Riya turned around and smiled as she walked backwards, her dress dancing in the wind along with her hair.

As she walked backwards smiling and nodding at him, she accidentally bumped into someone and mumbled a small sorry and started walking down to the class not realising it was Sameer who she bumped into!
