Third person's pov

Hidiya
"OMG Demetrius you just admitted to being my friend!!!"

Demetrius
"I might as well admit to it since you're coming to my house. First we gotta stop at the store."

Omg I'm going to his house!!

Hidiya
"Lead the way!"

Demetrius didn't text back instead he listened and guided them towards a small market a couple blocks from his house.

They went inside and he made Hidiya grab a basket since she was latched onto his arm.

He grabbed a couple of items and put them inside of the basket. He saw a package of Oreos and figured to get them for dessert since Hidiya was visiting.

He led Hidiya to more places around the store and when he was finally done he felt his arm jolt a little. He looked over at Hidiya to see if anything was wrong.

The basket looks too heavy.

He had them stop walking and he got out of her hold. Then grabbed onto the handle for the basket. She let go but then didn't know what to do with her hands. So she put them to her side. Once Demetrius settled with the basket being held in one arm. He stayed still and left his other arm a little open.

Hidiya looked confused. Then it slowly processed in her head as she slipped her arm through his. He led them to the register and he placed the basket on the conveyor belt letting the cashier handle the groceries. He took his wallet out his pocket. Then paid for the groceries after it was rung up.

Everything fit into two single bags so he held them both and guided them back outside of the store.

The walk was very quiet but neither of them minded the silence.

"Oh my! My son brought home a beauty! Hi honey! I'm Demetrius' mom! But you can call me Anita. Oh that's right! You also don't speak. It's okay honey! Just text Demetrius for anything you may need and he'll let me know! Welcome to our home!" His mom had the most gorgeous smile.

Hidiya had never seen Demetrius smile so she wonder if he shared the same smile as his mom.

Demetrius released his arm from hers and started settling the groceries onto the countertop.

"Oh honey come sit down with me! Demetrius is getting diner ready for us!!" Hidiya smiled and nodded.

Demetrius was done with making the food. He made shrimp alfredo, his personal favorite and he distributed the full plates all over the table.

He tapped in front of a chair at the table. Signaling that Hidiya could sit there. She followed his movements and sat at that spot. He sat next to her and his brother joined them with his brother in her arms.

Immediately once she saw his little brother. She began tapping his arm repeatedly in a fast pace.

She snatched her phone in her hand and started spamming him.

Hidiya
"THAT IS THE CUTEST BABY IVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE"

She basically had tears coming from her eyes by how cute he was.

Demetrius chuckled and told his mom what she said.

"Oh dear thank you so much. Both of my beautiful boys are very special to me. They get their good looks from me." She whispered the last part. Then smiled at Hidiya.

Hidiya didn't react to what his mother had said she was so fascinated by how good Demetrius' cooking was. She finished her plate before him and she just stared at him while he ate.

He looked back at her with a questioned face. She pointed to the food then put both of her thumbs up with a smile on her face.

Next thing she knew, Demetrius grabbed her chin then kissed her-

Sorry guys that's not what really happened.

Next thing she knew, Demetrius grabbed her chin then started wiping the alfredo sauce from all over her face.

She chuckled and silently thanked him with two taps on his arm.

"Hidiya would you like to hold my baby boy Liam?"

Hidiya clapped her hands excitedly!!

Of course!!!
