Austin's pov
I arrived to Marla's house quick not really worrying about how fast I was driving. I knocked on her door.
The door opened immediately.
"Oh thank god you're hear Austin! Camrynn has been non stop crying. She won't tell me what happened! She's hiding her face and telling me that she doesn't want it to affect our friendship. Please Austin I need help!" Marla basically drags me in her house towards where Camrynn is. She's in Marla's living room with her knees up to her face.
I rushed to her side.
I remembered how she didn't like being touched so I just stayed near her.
"Camrynn" I heard little sniffles come from her.
It seems like she didn't want to respond. I'm not sure what to do.
"Camrynn, if it's okay. You're gonna stay over at mine. Whatever happened at your house you don't have to worry about okay. You'll be with me okay?"
She mumbles a small okay. But stays in her position.
"I-I don't want to show my face..."
"It's okay! It's okay! If you want I can carry you and you can hide your face. Just let me know if it's okay to touch you okay? I'll just pick you up and carry you to my car, okay?"
She mumbled once again an okay. I had my hands under her legs.
"Is this okay?" I say gently.
"Y-Yes it's okay." I pick her up and she immediately wraps her arms around my neck and digs her face in it.
"Marla I'll see you tomorrow, okay." I say as I'm at her door. She hurries over to open it for me.
"Austin once again thank you so much! Please take good care of her."
"I will"
I leave out of her doorway and make it to my car. I held her with one hand and opened the passenger side. I placed her gently on the seat and immediately put her face in her hands with her legs up. I wasn't exactly sure how I was going to keep her safe in the position she's in but I'm going to try. I put her seatbelt on. Then I walked over to my side.
