Hidiya's pov

He stood there waiting patiently for me to decide to go down.

I held onto the railing and started to go down. I stopped in between shaking. Luckily Demetrius as close enough to hold onto be and pry me off of the ladder. I held onto him for support then later let go once my feet were settled on the ground.

Me
"Thank you"

He nodded then grabbed my stuff and waited for me to open the door. I did then we headed up stairs. Demetrius went a head of me and I took a little while to go up because I had to feed Milo.

I got up there and he was lounging on my bed. Not leaving any room for me. I pushed him slightly attempting to move him but of course I couldn't.

He perked over at me and grinned. He eventually moved so I could lay down so I did. We were like statues laying shoulder by shoulder.

But ended up falling asleep.

But ended up falling asleep

Demetrius' pov

I figured this would happen.

I woke up to Hidiya sprawled all over me. It's still pretty dark outside and the sun isn't out yet.

Hidiya moved a bit and wrapped her arms around my waist and dug her face in my neck.

I sighed.

This girl.

I stayed still and wrapped my arms around her.

I can't help but wonder why her father never gave her any compliments. This girl constantly grew up wondering if she was enough. I grew up with so much love from my dad then it ended up turning into hate then even worse disgust. He couldn't even look at me.

When we went to drop off Donna. He wanted to talk to me. He wanted me to forgive him. But I will never ever forgive him for what he's done to my mom. To my family.

(Flashback : tw- domestic abuse, violence- if this is triggering to you. Please don't hesitate to skip this part.)

Little Demetrius' pov

I witnessed my mom being thrown against the kitchen wall.

"I don't want this crap! Stop calling your meals dinner! It's disgusting!"

"I'm sorry! I-I'll order somethi-"

SLAP!

"Don't talk back to me!"

"I-"

He slapped her once again.

"I said don't talk!"

I ran up to them.

"L-leave her alone!"

He pushed me aside and I crashed into the kitchen table. But it didn't make me give up. I jumped on the kitchen table then eventually jumped on his back punching his face multiple times.

I had at least one good hit until I was thrown off even further from the kitchen table.

"Demetrius!" My mom ran to me and gathered me in her arms. "My baby please say you're alright!"

"I'm okay mom. I don't want you to get hurt."

"It's okay my baby." I tried to reach her reddened face but then I was yanked out of her arms.

"Give him back!" My mom tries to reach out to me.

"This little rotten boy gave me a bloody lip!" He said while pulling my my arm.

"Let go of me!" I said while punching with my other arm but it did no damage.

"You wanna learn how to punch?" He got off of my arm and swung.

I crossed my arms hoping to defend me but his hard knuckles drove into my face and it caused my nose to start bleeding. He raised his arm to swing again but I wasn't hit a second time.

"Mom!"

I held onto Hidiya tightly trying to get that memory out of my head.

She won't get hurt.

I won't let her get hurt.

Also I'm thinking of making a cute story of Camrynn and Austin. I have some ideas! Let me know what you guys think! I could also probably do a cute one of Rosilea and Josiah.

Guys pls don't mind the time frame😭 just go along with it pls until I figure out what I wanna do :)

More crazy chapters to come~
