Chapter 86: The Nights Still Young

After everyone left Ozzie's, Carter and Loona stood outside along the footpath and both sighed, Carter then pulls out his phone and turns to Loona and says "instead of going back the way we came why don't we continue our night out? The nights still young and I'd really hate that just because we got kicked out to ruin our evening. What say you love?" Loona smiled and said "Yeah sure, what do you have in mind?" Carter smiled back and said "I don't know myself,  I know why don't you pick? whatever you want to do" Loona smiled and looked up in thought for a moment and said "Well not another club, that's enough drama for one night, I could really go for a burger though, shall we get some takeout?" Carter smiled and said "Sounds like a plan Loona, I shall call our ride"

After Carter made a quick phone call, the psychedelic Rolls-Royce appeared in front of them out from a sparkly smoke and the rear left door opened up for them. Carter turned towards Loona and gestured towards the car "After you my dear" and the both got in. Loona said aloud once the car door shut "Take us to somewhere where they sell fast food" and the car sped off into the night. Not long afterwards the Rolls-Royce pulled up and parked to a fast food joint called Burger Andy's that had a bright neon cartoony styled burger sign on the roof.  Carter read the name and and yelled "Ha!" to which Loona turned to Carter confused and asked "Why did you yell ha?" To which Carter smiled and said "Oh nothing it just reminds me of something I saw on YouTube a few years ago" Loona smiled and rolled her yes and opened the car door opened and Carter and Loona were both hit instantly with the smell of burger grease that was coming from inside the establishment. 

Loona's stomach growled and she said "Man that smells good" and the both ordered there meals and sat down. Loona had a cheeseburger and fires meal and Carter ordered a BBQ pork loaded fries meal. Loona took a bite of her burger and  said "I really am a genius" Carter smiled and asked with a mouthful of food "Oh? how so?" Loona replied "By deciding to go and get takeout instead of just going home, I chose a nice place" Carter smiled whist raising an eyebrow and replied whilst still with a mouthful "I mean technically it was the car that chose this place, you just said to take us to a place with fast-food" Loona looked at Carter with an annoyed expression which made Carter laugh but then caused him to choke on his mouthful of loaded fries. Loona then begins to laugh hysterically and said "Karma bitch!" 

After Carter had stopped chocking and they had both finished their meals they sat there for a while just talking and showing each other memes when Loona receives a text message from Tex reading "Hey Loona sorry for the late notice but I forgot to ask you and Carter earlier but would both of you be interested in coming to a house party? my girlfriend is having a party at her place and it's going to be fairly big" Loona smiled and turned her phone towards Carter and said "Hey babe Tex has asked us if we would be interested in a party tomorrow?" Carter smiled and said "Hell yeah, a party that's got Tex at is bound to be good, yeah we'll go just ask him for the address and time".

Loona responded back to Tex saying that they were going and then Loona received a text back and Loona said to Carter "Got the time and Address for tomorrow, lets head back so that we can wake up on time for it" Carter replied "Yeah just looking at the time we'll be back for like 12:30am ish" Carter and Loona then got back into the car and headed back home to I.M.P. After and hour they got back and entered through the front door and found Blitzo crying on the couch. Loona with a pained and worried expression on her face asked "Hey Blitzo are you okay?" Blitzo sniffled and replied "I'm fine honey, just got a lot on my mind right now, it's nothing you and Carter have to worry about. Goodnight you two" Loona said goodnight whilst looking worried and walked into the bedroom. Carter put a hand on Blitzo's shoulder and said "Hey man if you ever want to talk about anything, know that I'm here, if you don't want to that's perfectly fine but it's not healthy to keep those emotions bottled up and to deal with them on your own, us guys got to look out for each other right?" he said with a smile. Blitzo sniffled and smiled whilst still with tears in his eyes and said "Oh yeah? Thanks Carter, I'll uh keep that in mind".

Carter looked at the bedroom door and then back to Blitzo and replied "Well Loona is probably going to be wondering what's keeping me outside, so goodnight Blitzo, sweet dreams" and Blitzo said in return "Goodnight to you too Carter" and Carter entered the bedroom closing the door behind him. Loona was already in her comfort clothes and in bed waiting for him, so he took off his suit and hopped into bed in nothing but his underwear. Loona looked at Carter and asked "Hey babe so what did you and Dad talk about out there?" Carter replied "Well you know just that if he ever needed to talk to someone that he's got me if he wants to talk about anything, it's not healthy to keep those emotions to yourself, it's stigmatized to not to talk about that stuff as a guy you know?" Loona frowned and said "He could talk to me but he never does" Carter replied "Well before I came along did you ever talk to him if you were going through anything?" Loona sheepishly replied "Well no, it's hard to want to talk about the things I was thinking and feeling" Carter smiled warmly whilst placing a paw on Loona's face and said "Well it's the same with Blitzo but it's our responsibility as friends and family to offer someone like him a place to vent and to openly talk to" Loona smiled and said "Yeah you're right" Carter gave Loona a kiss on the forehead and said "Goodnight Loona, love you and see you in the morning" Loona kissed Carter on the head and replied "Love you to Carter, see you in the morning and sweet dreams".

With season 2 finally finished and that damn last episode of season 1 finally released I finally am happy with the material presented to continue with the story, sorry for taking so long but welcome back and more chapters are to come in the following days/weeks. until then keep a look out for more to come!
