Amidst the loud beats and colorful flashing lights, people were enjoying themselves showing off their steps on the dance floor. A tall, young man pushed his way through the crowd toward the bar. He had a rather expressionless face with slight annoyance on his countenance, but that did nothing to lessen his handsome look. Rather, the arrogance that was so clear in his gaze and the devil-may-care manner only attracted the young men and women around him, urging them to bring themselves into his orbit.

"What time will the band "ARO" be playing?"

The deep voice questioned the bartender after ordering his drink.

"The band just finished minutes ago." Dark brows knitted themselves at that reply.

What a waste of time! And that damn Singh did not tell him the exact time! It was only a few days to the audition, so why would he send him over to check things out?!

'Tossakan' could not help but curse his younger business partner. If it weren't for that guy pressing on again and again for him to stop by and see his underclassman singing, there was no way he would waste his precious down time to step foot in here.

"A...ah, but in no later than 15 minutes another band will be taking the stage. If you're interested, we can find you a private table."

"No need for that. Thank you."

Tossakan handed the tip to the bartender who was doing his best at customer service, albeit looking slightly afraid doing so.

He casted his gaze around to do a quick assessment.

The size was neither big nor small, and the decoration was nothing fancy as the focus was on selling drinks and the live music bands. The dreary atmosphere along with the musty smell told him of a sub-par management ability. Most customers seemed to be students. Both the place and the customer group seemed to be completely different from his own pub.

It seemed he would gain nothing from continuing to stay. Having made up his mind, the tall, burly man made his way outside of the pub, planning to head to other pubs for further relaxation.

To be frank, the pub that he and Singh owned together was considered one of the luxury pubs famous among the students. Because it had been in business for so long, everything was just so in place that he and his partner almost did not have to go there physically at all.

However, he was aware of the saying that in competition, the one who stopped was also the one who took a backward step for the competitors, and someone like him would not let anyone get ahead of him if he could help it. In addition, though his pub was a business that only brought in a small income in comparison to the main business he was looking after, he did love it and wanted to see it developed and grown.

Moreover, live music had been such a hit recently that it made him want to try having one at his pub. This was the reason why he was travelling around checking out the competition rather than having a rest at his penthouse.

As he was walking past the parking lot on his way to the pub next door, he could hear noises from the darkness beside him.

"Ouch! Let me go! If you don't let me go, I'll cry out for help!"

The scene was that of a petite boy being tugged and pulled by a taller figure. Tossakan paused midstep, unsure if he should step in and help.

"As you like! I wanna see...who will dareeeee stick their nose in a couple's quarrel!" The young man was about to turn his back and walk away as he did not want to put his nose in anybody's business, but his gaze happened to land on something.

"Help! Please help! Ouch!!"

The slighter man tried his best pulling himself away and shaking the other man off, but he could not get away from his grasp. He then decided to bite that gripping arm, hard, which resulted in the other man pushing him to the ground. Tossakan knitted his brows the second he saw that son of a bitch pull back his arm, aiming to strike.
