As the car drove on, Oonjai tried to turn to look at the back where his little brother was sitting as he was quite worried about the boy.

Klairak sat like a round little dough that he was on the same car seat with the addition of a big storybook. Bright eyes stared at the colorful pictures with interest, almost forgetting how he did not like the uncomfortable seat strap.

"Stop turning back to look. The little dough is used to the car seat now."

The giant driver pulled Oonjai's hand onto his lap.

"But he was so upset yesterday."

"He's good with it now. Yesterday when he went back with me, nothing happened."

Oonjai sent a small glare his way.

"You used ice cream to trick him! I'm worried if his teeth are all right...he's been eating so much sweets."

"How grouchy."

"I'm not being grouchy! Oon is speaking the truth! Ever since we've been living with you, Klairak's been getting rounder and rounder. I wonder if his weight is off the chart and he's a fat kid now...."

Tossakan smiled as he looked at the one next to him who had become more talkative as time went by.

"You wonder? He's so round I think one day he's going to burst!"

"Khun! Don't bully him!"

"How strict."

"Oon is not being strict!"

The older man stroked the back of that lovely hand. The sounds of Oon this and Oon that made him smile unknowingly.

"I have an emergency meeting this evening. I'll get someone to pick you up."

"Oon can get back on my own."

"No." The slighter man's face practically withered when the older man dropped his tone low.

"For your own safety, it's better to have someone pick you up and drop you off."

Oonjai looked up at the other man whose attention was on the traffic in front of them. One hand was on the wheel while the other one held onto his and refused to let go.

"Did you forget what a bastard your uncle is? I'm not going to risk him being a danger to you and the little dough again."

The other man turned back to lock eyes with him when their car was at the red lights. Beautiful doe eyes locked gaze with dark, deep ones and Oonjai's little heart was shaking at the care and kindness inside those eyes. The clear display of how the other man felt about him made Oonjai's face heat up.

"Ooon. Ooon."

Fortunately, the calling of his name broke the sweet atmosphere, allowing Oonjai to avert his eyes and look to the back.

"Yes?"

"Kai like this." Small hands raised the storybook and waved it around, quite pleased with it after having a look at almost every page.

"Have shrimp. What this?" A plump finger pointed to the cover of the storybook in his hand.

"A seahorse."

"Seahot."

Oonjai was so busy answering his brother's question he did not take notice that the other man had let go of his hand and taken an incoming call.

"What's up? It's quite sudden. Even if I should tell you, you won't have time for it. Aren't you opening your newest collection?"

The deep voice that was so gentle to the other end of the line made Oonjai snuck a glance at him.
