Chapter 25

Oonjai woke up on a bright new morning. The slim figure glanced at the one who was sleeping next to him. The sounds of even breathing told Oonjai how deep the other man was in slumber.

It was likely that after bringing him to bed last night Khun had left to get some more work done.

Oonjai wanted to reach out and touch Khun so intimately...wanted to know every part of his feature and how they would feel, be it the dark brows, the shapely nose matching with lips that showed the slight bit of his tough personality, and the shoulder length hair that was so silky. Every part came so well together to create a man so handsome it was hard to describe with mere words.

But...slender hands managed to pause at just the last minute....

No, that won't do, Oonjai!

...Did you forget that something...was not for just about anyone to grab and take hold of? Just being able to admire that thing from afar was already more than enough for someone like him....

Oonjai decided to quietly get out of bed. Oonjai looked at the man in front of him again with a small smile on his lips.

Oon promises you...that I will love you to the best I can, and will never inconvenience you with my feelings....

After washing and getting dressed, Tossakan left the grand bedroom to find the fragrant someone he had been using as a pillow all last night who managed to disappear without a trace came morning. Once he found him, he was going to punish him, so the other man would know how much he did not like it to wake up and not see his face.

While he was leaving the bedroom, however, Tossakan got an emergency call from his confidant.

[Boss, that thing you asked me to do a background check for...I have some updates for you. I sent you the pictures and records of every member of the Bodinnaruedech family via email.] At that, Tossakan immediately headed toward his office.

The Bodinnaruedech family was an old one with a long family tree and with members in each generation working for the government. The General has been working for the government almost all his life and was held in high respect in his circle. He married Lady Boonsri and had a daughter, Ms. Rinruedee. When Lady Boonsri passed away, he remarried Ms. Anong who had a son from her previous relationship, Mr. Kitti.

[The Bodinnaruedech family had a lot of real estate businesses as well as lands. While Boss's parents were still alive, they used to do business and keep contact with that family, but everything came to a halt when the General was paralyzed from being in an accident.]

Tossakan listened to Chatchai's report as he turned on his notebook. He could vaguely remember from his parents that the General was well known and respectable, most importantly he was a good person. However, after his parents passed away, he had been so busy that he forgot to keep contact with the other man.

[And after that, most of the businesses was taken care of by Ms. Anong and Mr. Kitti who took over running the businesses.]

"And Ms. Rinruedee?"

[Ms. Rinruedee rather trusted the two mother and son to take care of the businesses in her place while she chose to take care of the General. There is one thing that has been the most secretive of secrets for the Bodinnaruedech family...over ten years ago, before the General fell ill, there was a rumor that Ms. Rinruedee had disappeared. Some said she went to further her studies. Some said that she was pregnant and ran away with her lover. Some said the General forced her to get rid of the baby abroad. Nobody really knows how real the rumors were, as Ms. Rinruedee was back when the General was ill. Boss...I would like you to take a look at something in the file I sent you.]
