The hair clips

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

The alarm for school went off.
It was such a long shift for Heizou that Sunday weekend. He got up with a yawn. People get last minute items from shops before school that started on Monday and Heizou was tired. Though this Sunday wasn't like every other Sunday. When he saw those two boys who seemed to dress in Heizou's familiar style, something about that made him feel like he wasn't at work anymore.

He stared at the clock that read, "6:00 am." Though Monday mornings are really tiring, Heizou felt pretty ecstatic and a little bit disappointed. He wasn't going to be working today and felt a bit upset that he wouldn't be able to see those two guys he saw at H&M. He got up and changed into some nice clothes. Clothes that seemed to be a little familiar to those two boys. He sighed at the way that he might not see them again. He hoped that telling them to "come again," would give some sort of effect that they'll remember him.

Heizou tied his hair up and got out of his room to have breakfast, but then he remembered the ashe blonde guy at H&M who had a low ponytail to the side. It looked really cute.

Heizou poured out his milk and cereal, chowing it down as fast as he could and immediately left the house for a run. He enjoyed a run to school, it made him feel energetic for the rest of the day and not so tired. Something about this morning had him feel a bit hoppy in his run.

As he arrived at his college, he waved to Itto and Gorou who seemed to be mucking around a bit. "Good morning guys," Heizou greeted and looked at Gorou and Itto with matching hair clips in their hair. "What's with the little star clips?"

"Oh, we decided to wear these clips to look a bit secretive in our friend group. Here, have three!" Gorou gifted three different coloured star clips to Heizou.

"Eh, why am I getting three?!" Heizou looked in shock and realised that the star clips were selling at H&M. "How much were these?"

"Oh, Gorou pal got a lot of these for everyone that we hang out with during breaks. They costed at a rough price about $20." Itto rested his heavy arm on Gorou to look over to see Gorou holding 10 more clips.

"Awwhh come on guys, I literally work at where you bought these clips. You should've asked me to buy them for a staff discount at 40% off. These things come in pricey," Heizou averted his gaze and felt pity for both of Itto and Gorou's pockets. They haven't started a job and Itto kept going on and on about how he might start a shopify, but he didn't get anywhere with it.

"Oh, that's right!" Gorou found out about how he could've saved 40% on $20 and his ears dropped a bit.

"Talking about 40%, you guys really need to get that percentage up in tests or you'll be kicked out of college," a familiar voice was heard by the three boys from afar.

"Tighnari?!" They all called to Tighnari, the class president. They all ran up to him as if he were an older brother. "Hey Tighnari, I got all of us some star hair clips from H&M yesterday for our friend group. Here, have one" Gorou displayed the hair clips in his hand and gave one to Tighnari. It was a light pastel green coloured hair clip. Tighnari accepted the offer and put it near his bangs. The colour matched and it looked really cute.

While the three boys were all mucking around and talking about their weekend, Heizou saw two familiar people in the corner of his eye. There was one wearing a red baggy hoodie and another wearing a purple baggy hoodie. Those two boys seemed to be matching in the style of the hoodie, but not the pattern. Heizou turned his head around in a flash as he saw them walking towards the school building and immediately ran to chase them.

"Hey, you two, wait up!" The two boys turned around and Heizou could no longer control his speed. He crashed inside the building right into the purple one and they slid across the floor of the school building. Everyone got their attention on the two and they gasped, wondering if they were ok.

Heizou felt famished as his back got a bit roughed, but at least he could protect the purple one from getting injured.
Heizou could feel the purple one on his loud beating chest. The hoodie on him felt really warm and comfy.

"Wait a second," a voice from the red one spoke. Heizou opened his eyes to see the ashe blonde from H&M right in front of him!

"Hey, it's you!" Heizou pointed at the ashe blonde. The dark purple hair seemed to have opened his eyes to see himself on top of Heizou and jolted up, a bit embarrassed.

"Oh, it's you too!" Heizou looked at the short dark purple hair who walked away with an embarrassed scoff. The ashe blonde walked over to give Heizou a hand and he apologised about the way he ran into one of them.

"My bad about that. It wasn't a really pain-free entrance, but I couldn't help seeing you guys again."

"Yeah, what a coincidence!" They both smiled and Heizou got to see those pairs of red eyes staring at him with a soft look again. "I'm Kaedehara Kazuha by the way. Who would've guessed that we go to the same college."

"I know, out of all the schools in Teyvat am I right?" Heizou felt that warm charming feeling from Kazuha like that moment in H&M. "I'm Shikanoin Heizou, It's nice meeting you again."

"Hey Scara, wanna introduce yourself?" Kazuha looked over his shoulder to see Scara zipping up his hoodie and hiding his face. The little purple cat charm ringed at the side of his pants. Heizou looked at it and looked over at Kazuha's to see if he had the same. The charm was a maple leaf. "Alright then," Kazuha let Scara be.

"He doesn't talk, huh?" Heizou looked over at Scara hiding half of his face and tried to wave through his little hoodie cave.

"He'll talk to someone like you eventually," Kazuha assured. Scara quietly scooted over behind Kazuha again.
Someone like me?? Heizou questioned. It's not everyday he heard those words.

"What class you got?" Kazuha reached in his pocket to look for the schedule.

"Oh, I got Science," Heizou viewed how cute the cover of the planner looked. There were stickers and scribbles of conversations in red and purple on it. It gave Heizou the idea that Scara and Kazuha were closer than he thought.

"Oh cool, I have science too! It looks like we have a quiz as well." Kazuha closed his planner away.

The bell rung and the three separated their ways to get to their lockers for their first period.
