The walk in the streets

"Heizou... is that you?" The sniffle from behind the shadows was heard in the middle of the night far from streetlights.

Kazuha kissed Scara goodbye on the cheek. He wouldn't be home for the entire night because he needed to spend time with the wind and have alone time with the forest far away.

"I'll be back by tomorrow morning so I expect lots of breakfast, Scara," Kazuha smiled, cupping Scara by the cheeks as Scara held Kazuha by the waist, letting them go as Kazuha turned to walk into the distance. Scara smiled, and waved at Kazuha as he waved back.

"Keep yourself warm and don't catch a cold," was the last sentence Scara said before closing the door and locking it. He turned around to his empty house. It was really silent. Even though Kazuha was quiet most of the time, something about the house felt way too quiet than it used to be. "Welp, just another 9 hours until morning," Scara sighed and threw himself on the nearby sofa.

He decided to drift himself to sleep, hoping time would pass and when he woke up, it was time for him to prepare meals for his boyfriend.

"Aaah fuck," Scara woke up groggy. Maybe it was because he slept too long. He jolted out of bed, wondering if it was past the time to make breakfast for Kazuha. He almost fell off the couch. "Shit!" He got a grip of barely anything.
He hurried to the kitchen to start making some food. Ok, Kazuha's favourite..

Fried fish

Mochi

Condensed milk pudding

My melody cookies

After an hour, Scara was done, but he got so carried away with making everything that he didn't check the time, only to find out that it was just 2 am in the morning. "Godammit, he won't be back by 8am... fuck!!" Scara groaned and rubbed his eyes.
Kazuha's whereabouts got Scara shaking and he felt non-existent in an empty house with no one but him. He questioned how LDRs would even survive. (lmao my ldr pookie and i frfr)

The food was all prepared and there was still five hours left until Kazuha would be back. He covered the food with a food cover so the sweets don't get expired.
"Sigh, guess I'll take a walk too," he mumbled, putting on his jacket and pants over his pyjamas and walked off to the door with his headphones.

Scara felt as if he forgot something when he closed the door behind him, but felt himself thinking insane probably because Kazuha wasn't around. He let out a deep sigh again. "I think I'm going crazy," Scara had a hand to his head.

His warm breath misted out into the cold air and he could feel winter coming without a warning. He walked down the streets, wandering into nothing, rambling up his mind with Kazuha over and over again.
Streetlights passed him so many times and he could feel the attention of spotlight.

His headphones played his shared playlist with Kazuha.
It could use some more work to be honest. Maybe something a bit more surprising to make the playlist not so repetitive... but maybe he just needed someone new to change his perspective and introduce him to some new songs.

Outside his headphones he heard wailing from beside him and got confused thinking it might've been the song that was playing. Huh, but this song never went like this before...?

Scara took off his headphones and found the wailing coming from the alleyway in front of him. A feeling of his introverted self didn't want to interact with what was happening, but something about that little sniffle gave him the nerving feeling of his past.

Cautiously, he walked towards the noise, feeling as if he regretted every step... but he kept going anyway.
The person behind the alleyway finished their wailing and stood up to walk around their corner, meeting eyes with Scara. And those gloomy eyes stared wide-eyed at Scara with a startle.

"Heizou... is that you?" The sniffle from behind the shadows was heard in the middle of the night far from streetlights.

"Scaraaaa," Heizou whined, tripping in his steps to Scara's arms and Scara received the best blessing hugs ever given to someone. Heizou started to cry again, feeling sensitive over the comfort that he never had in such a long time and fell to his knees dragging Scara with him.

"Heizou..." Scara didn't know what to say. He hugged Heizou tightly, embracing into him and taking all of his emotions onto his shoulder.
He cupped Heizou's cheeks in his hands and took all the tears that fell from his face.

"I..." Heizou hiccuped, holding onto Scara's hands trying to wipe the tears.

"Shh shhh... it's alright, we'll talk about this later. Let's go home," Scara dragged Heizou to his feet. "I'll carry you home, yeah?" What was Scara saying? Since when was he so intimate towards someone he barely talked to. Especially when asking someone besides Kazuha for piggyback rides. Scara sweat, waiting for an answer. Heizou just held onto Scara's hand and they intertwined their fingers.

"Please do..." Heizou sniffled, feeling embarrassed. Scara bent down in front of Heizou, lifting him up on his back with a huff. A few steps were taken and the two were halfway to the house. Heizou mumbled as if drunk and nuzzled into Scara, taking advantage of his presence. "I should've never tried to form balance in a group of such toxic people," Heizou cried.

"That scene in H&M?" Scara looked back at Heizou who was covering his eyes from the streetlights. He knew that little argument wasn't so little and Heizou wouldn't be his little happy charming ball after that.

"Mmmm..." The maroon-haired boy groaned.

"We're almost there, you're light anyway," Scara huffed to lift Heizou who was slipping off his back.

"I've missed you," Heizou mumbled in Scara's shoulder.

"I've missed you too..." Scara looked back at Heizou, "I wish I could've done something more to help you..."
