Heizou was in H&M, starting his shift. Shinobu wasn't in for manager today and Gorou was there to cover for her instead.
This made Heizou use the air conditioning as an advantage. He turned it off and switched the heater on instead to make it warm and toasty so customers would feel amazed and stay in the store a little longer.

As Heizou was sorting out the stocks for next season's fashion, he saw the same boys in the corner of his eye. It was Kazuha and Scara. Heizou gave them a little wave when he caught their attention and he went on to unboxing the new stocks. "You friends with them now?" Gorou barked.

"Yeah, we were hanging out during break this week. I'm sure you've noticed," Heizou smiled at himself, happy to meet new friends and stay out of his old group for a bit.

"You can't hang out with our group if you continue to hang out with those kawaii boys," Gorou scoffed. Heizou was caught off guard by Gorou's sudden rudeness, "You promised to tell Shinobu where you were."

"Yeah, but I didn't have to tell you guys everyday," Heizou's voice raised.

"Yeah, but we went looking for you EVERYDAY!" Gorou's raised his voice.

"Ok, so I forgot, what's the big deal?"

"Do you not like our group anymore? If you're thinking of officially leaving it, then just tell us."

"That's not what I mea--"

"Ugh...." Gorou turned his back on Heizou to fix up the stocks in the storage room. Heizou felt a bit embarrassed fighting with Gorou in front of so many customers. He assumed that the argument will easily wear off after this weekend.

"Heizou!" Kazuha shouted from the opposite end of the store which jolted Heizou.

"Heyy Kazu-cutie and Scara-bae!" Heizou raised a hand to wave with a warm smile.

"What's with the nickname Heizou, hehe?" Kazuha blushed a little.

"Nothingg, just in a good mood I guess," Heizou sniffed from his pride. He then saw Scara hiding himself away from Heizou behind Kazuha again.
"Scara-baee~" a little flirty voice left Heizou as he gave a cute girlie wave to Scara.

"Ehe, he's a little bit off today, we won't be here for long," Kazuha chuckled, giving Scara rubs on the lower back.

"So, what are you looking for? You can request a fashion for us to sell here," Heizou's elbow to table, rested his head on his hand. He looked eagerly for an answer.

"Actually, we came to talk to you, to check if you're ok. You fought with an employee and Scara and I couldn't help but notice," Kazuha's eyebrows furrowed.

Heizou thought of an answer, a bit hesitant and stuttering trying to make up a perfect answer. He told himself to not think too much of it and to talk it off with everyone in school. So the best answer he could give Kazuha was, "just a bit of common drama, no problem." The cracked smile and worried eyes were obvious. Kazuha looked at Scara, giving each other telepathic signs to talk about this topic another time.

"Alright then, we'll get going," Kazuha turned around to walk off, but stopped as Scara was still standing at the counter.

"Hey Strawberry, if you wanna talk, I'll be here to listen, yeah?" Scara's face appeared from inside his hoodie and Heizou gave a thumbs up with a smile. Scara blushed a little at the ray of sunshine and he turned his heel to walk off with Kazuha.

"What's with you and them?" Gorou's nose scrunched.

"Excuse-"

"Heizou, stop being weird with customers!" Gorou spat in Heizou's face.

"What's wrong with you, give me a break, will ya?" Heizou gestured a hand from his crossed arms, an eyebrow raised at Gorou's furious eyes.

"Our friend group is so fucked up because of you. Come back to us now, and I won't tell anyone about what shit you're on with those two nerds," Gorou stepped closer to Heizou.

"I'm NOT on anything, Gor-"

"You're such a betrayer to us, you know that? Like, Itto bought matching hair clips for us ALL!" Gorou hissed, the customer's grabbing their attention to the counter.

"He gave me half-"

"Look, Heizou, we're popular and that representation around the school will word out. You keep us together, Heizou, and I don't want you to be lame." Gorou looked at Kazuha and Scara leaving the store.

"Don't guilt trip me like that! You attention-seekers are only popular if I'm here, is that what's happening?"

"You're just being your old narcissistic self again. If you think we're shit and you hate us, then just say so!!" Gorou hissed, the customer's grabbing their attention to the counter.

Heizou grew enraged and his veins almost popped under his skin. His nose scrunched and he blew...

"Gorou I'm not- ...y-you know what?! I don't fucking care of popularity or what you guys think of me.. When will you guys ever see me as someone who does everything for the group and expect nothing in return...!?" Heizou's voice shook as tears were like cactus thorns to his eyes. "I don't want to hurt you, I... I never intended to leave because of- I never.." Heizou stuttered, his palms rubbed his eyes furiously trying not to cry. "...I don't want to hurt anyone. I took a leave from the group not because of what you think, but because... ugh, whatever, just fuck off!" Heizou's nose stuffed up and his voice was nasal.

Heizou fucked up for real. He was excited to meet people who actually accepted him for who he is, but the group will never leave him alone and never respected his boundaries.
It hurt, but him knowing he hurt them tore more than his heart could take. Though no matter how fake they were towards him behind people outside his group, he still put on a face and a friendship bracelet.
He took a break, hanging out with Kazuha and Scara because he had never felt so close to someone platonically ever since he was a boy. No one took him as a person for his weird interest in law and no one even cared about his opinions except them.

"You guys... don't know what I've been through to even form such a messy group like ours..." a sniffle came from Heizou.

"Heizou-"

"I'm fucking sick of you, ALL OF YOU!" Heizou charged at Gorou with gritted teeth and held him up by the collar as the crowd gasped, but his stomach fell remembering a similar situation and he felt mercy. Heizou threw Gorou back into a wall with hatred of , and ran away from the store, leaving behind a silver friendship bracelet.

Customers whispered around Gorou's sensitive ears and they started to sweat. "Uhh, n-next customer... please."
