Heizou and Kazuha separated ways to their lockers and as Heizou was walking through the hallway, he bumped into Scara who seemed to be hidden in the corner among the crowd of people.
Heizou walked over with a smile at Scara. Scara dropped the jacket from his face to let the hidden half show and Heizou saw everything.

He saw how fine that skin of Scara's looked and how soft it looked to touch. Heizou stared at Scara's lips that seemed to be a tiny of pink. To be honest, the sight of it looked very kissable...
"I'll just be here to wait for the crowd to decrease," Scara spoke. Heizou felt heat rise to his chest. He never heard Scara spoke before since Kazuha was the only one who spoke for him.

"T-that... was the first time I heard your voice," Heizou's volume lowered.

"Gah—" Scara flinched a bit and averted his gaze. His jacket went to cover that half of his face again. "What about it?" Scara mumbled behind the jacket.

"Nothing, it's really a surprise since you're not much of a talker," Heizou remembered Kazuha telling him that Scara would easily open up to a person like him. Maybe this was what he meant. "Oh, Kazuha was pretty worried for you because of what happened before class, you alright?"

"That's none of your concern," Scara looked back at Heizou but seemed to stare at him down and up instead. His lower half seemed pretty fit.

"Oh, looks like the crowd is decreasing. Let's get our books for next class, yeah?" Heizou pointed to the way of his locker.

"Alright..."

Heizou and Scara walked across the hallway to their lockers. Turns out, their lockers seemed to be right next to each other. They both unlocked it and got out their books for the next class.
"What do you have next?" Heizou pulled out a book from his locker.

"I have English," Scaramouche also got a book out of his locker.

"That's perfect, I have English too!" Heizou smiled at Scara and he seemed to give a small smile back. Then Scara stared at a cute silver bracelet with star charms and half a heart. Looked like the bracelet came with another pair for someone else.

"The bracelet is cute," Scara pointed it out

"Huh...yeah," Heizou responded hesitant. He raised his hand and the bracelet dangled, making charming clinks.

"You're close to that big group of friends?"

"Yeah, in fact I am."

"That sounded like it was in denial," Scara looked over to Heizou's face. He took a while to respond again.

"It's complicated," Heizou responded to quickly end the convo.

"..."

The two of them walked to their English class and Heizou was trying his best to change topic and try talk with Scara as much as he can. Though Scara would prefer is if he didn't talk to him as much for him to open up.
"You two are late," Mr Alhaitham was class 1C's class representative.
Class representatives can be considered as student substitute teachers based on their overall score in a subject from last year.

Turns out, Alhaitham was the highest of everyone to get full score in English and Math which gives him substitute in both subjects.

"It's just three minutes," Heizou shrugged and moved to two empty seats. Scara followed along.

"Three minutes and forty-two seconds to be exact. If you hit the four minute mark, I'd be considering you to one of the school executives," Mr Alhaitham laid a hand on his hip.

"Al, it's not even that bad—"

"Just move to your seat," Scara placed a hand on Heizou's shoulder and they both moved to the empty seats.

Mr Alhaitham did not hesitate to continue on with the lesson. It was ordered and pretty easy to follow. Most teachers in Teyvat College Academy would go on and on about another topic that wasn't part of the test and even sometimes talk about their break ups.

"You don't have to verbally talk back to Mr Alhaitham like that," Scara whispered to his desk mate.

"My bad, sometimes he just..." Heizou couldn't think of what else to say.

"No, I'm saying that you can just ignore him and watch him look stupid from afar," the corners of Scara's lips lifted cheekily.

"Alright then," Heizou did the same as Scara.

Heizou was writing down some notes in his book when he noticed a weird figure staring at him. He stared back, it seemed to be some random npc boy who stared right at their way, but Heizou stared long enough and found that the boy had a creepy stare on Scara instead. Heizou felt uncomfortable and decided to tell Scara about it.

"Oh really?" Scara looked over at the boy Heizou was talking about, "It's alright, he's just missing the fights I'd give him in the middle of the hallway sometimes."

"Wow, surprised you're still in this academy. They're pretty strict on student harms," Heizou felt pretty impressed with Scara.

"Fighting people isn't a good thing to do, but it's best to have one in your school years than when you're an adult, heh," Scara smirked.

"You're so admirable," Heizou leaned himself with an arm on the table, staring at Scara and his smirked dropped making him feel a bit flustered again. He pulled his hoodie over his face and Heizou chuckled at his reaction.

"I don't take compliments or praises," Scara tried to fight back looking tough, muffling through the hoodie.

"Really, not even Kazuha's?"

"Agh, well sometimes. Not that I take it to heart," Scara looked away.

"Though you seem to enjoy the compliments I give you. Why's that?" Heizou raised a brow

"What makes you think that I enjoy it?"

Mr Alhaitham finished his sentence with a "class dismissed," and the bell followed after him. Talk about organised...
Heizou and Scara were walking and talking their way to their locker to get their lunch before meeting up with Kazuha who was waiting for them.

"Hey Scara?" Heizou was packing his books away.

"Yeah?" Scara took out his lunch box.

"Mind if I sit with you guys today?"

"...sure."
