The next morning felt amazing.
I was finally able to keep in the same bed as Negan.
He was being the big spoon and wouldn't let go of me, like he thought I would get hurt if he did.
"Negan?" I whispered.
No response. I assumed he would be asleep so I tried to remove his arms.
That didnt work and his grip only tightened.
"5 more minutes, please," He asked sounding half awake and half asleep.
"You're such a big softy deep down," I chuckled.
"Only for you," Negan whispered.
"Can I at least face you?" I asked.
"Ye," Negan loosened his grip and I rolled onto my other side to face him.
Some hair fell on my face so Negan brushed it away while he had a grin on his face baring his teeth.
"Why is your smile so beautiful," I grinned.
"I dont know," Negan held my neck and kissed me.
I held onto him and kissed back.
Later on I took Negan too our farm so that I could show him the really Alexandria and give him a job.
I started to put plants into the ground while Negan watered all of the plants.
"Afternoon guys," Rick walked over to me.
"Hey Rick," I stood up and pulled my gloves off.
"You guys okay?" Rick asked.
"Ye we're fine. Negan wanted to contribute so I gave him watering plants duty," I nodded.
"I'm glad hes making you happy. I haven't seen you happy like this in so long," Rick put an arm round me and we both looked at Negan who was looking at the strawberries.
Negans POV
As I was watering the plants, I heard Y/N and Rick talking. Then I heard my name and Rick said I made Y/N happy. I was glad people started to recognise that. Not for me but for Y/N.
"Hey Rick," I stood up and carefully walked over the plants to not to trample on them.
"Hey. Thank you for watering the plants," Rick gave me a nod.
"Your welcome. You gotta feed the people right," I smiled but then realised what I said.
I took there food.
Y/N walked over to me and hugged me, "Its okay. Rick know you've changed."
"Ye thats the sort of thing I would have got mad about four months ago. Since then I've come to understandings. No hard feelings," Rick assured me and walked off.
"See," Y/N looked up at me, "They're warming up to you."
"I'm glad," I grinned.
