It was morning when Asher woke Fiona up.
"Are you ready?" He asked nervously looking at Fiona right in the eyes with a serious expression on his face. Fiona couldn't help but think about the time he said the exact same thing to her when it was the ceremony of Jonas, but now instead of asking if she was ready to celebrate his death he was asking her if she was ready to celebrate their arrival.
"So ready," she said with a smile on her face.
"Good morning!" Clark said as he opened the door
"Good morning Clark." Asher said very calmly
"Breakfast is ready, but if some of your friends are still sleeping they can continue." He said very nicely.
"Thank you, Asher and I will come down for breakfast." Fiona said as she started to rise up from her bed. "Let's go Asher!" She said smiling, gesturing her hand to her door.
"Okay" he said as if he didn't want to get out of bed.
They took their seats back at the big round table from last night and saw eggs and pancakes.
"Wow!" Asher said in amazement "We only get pancakes once a month!"
"Mmhmm!" Fiona agreed, already munching on pancakes.
"Well I'm glad you like it." Rosa said with smile slowing eating her pancakes
"I apologize for being late." Christopher said as he entered the room with everyone else.
"It's okay, I wanted to let all of you sleep because you all have a big trip today." He said excitedly as he ate his egg with toast.
"Oh yes, I already booked your tickets to the town of Bree, there is a doorbell of a gate and you are to ring it and someone will answer. Hopefully once you get in you find my sister Clarissa. She has orange hair and freckles.
"Thank you Rosa, you've done so much for us." Lily's father said as he started to put pancakes on his plates.
"And thanks for the pancakes!" Lily shouted, stuffing her face with pancakes.
"You're welcome, it was my pleasure! I hope you get what you're all looking for." She with a smile cleaning up her plate. "I'll bring you to the bus station in about 15 minutes and you'll be on your way.
"I'm ready!" Asher said excitedly
"Me too!" Fiona exclaimed
"Okay okay, how about we walk to the station. We will meet you at the bus station." Clark said with a chuckle
"Okay honey!" Rosa said as she hugged him goodbye.
"Anyone else ready?" Clark asked and no one answered, "I'll take that as a no, let's go kids!" Clark said as he took the keys.
"Okay!" Asher said, running towards the door.
As they began walking towards the station Fiona took everything in the thick fluffy snow on the ground that made a loud crunch when you stepped on it and the smell of new foods that people would sell on the streets made Fiona very hungry.
"Here's the bus station, if you look up you can see your bus to Bree is coming in about 3 minutes on bus number 5." Clark said trying to be helpful
"Hey!" Lily exclaimed running towards them
"Hello Lily!" Fiona said happily
"How was the walk?" Lily asked curiously
"Amazing! The snow makes this weird noise when you step on it and there was street food that smelled so good and I've never seen it before!" Fiona said as she was reimagining it in her mind.
