Kion dug his teeth into an Impala's neck and snapped it. The taste of blood watered his mouth. He started dragging it back to the Outlands, when a familiar voice talked to him.

"Kion?"

Kion whipped his head around and saw Kopa. He snarled. "Kion what has happened to you! First you try to commit suicide, then you attack your family, and now you're coated in blood!"

Kion growled and unsheathed his claws, "Stop acting like you care because I know you don't! You, mom, dad, Kiara, you all abused me! Because I was the runt!" Kionstar stood up tall, "Well, I'll have you know that I may still be the runt, but I'm much stronger than the entire pride combined!"

Kopa was shocked, "Kion, I never meant to hurt you. I just wanted to get on dad's good side."

Kion roared in anger, "I don't care! You can go back the Priderock. And tell Simba that his reign will soon be over!"

Kopa's eyes widened, and he ran to Priderock. Kion growled in annoyance and dragged the Impala back to the Outlands.

"Woah! What's ruffled your mane?" Kovu asked. "Kopa decided to give me a visit," Kion rolled his eyes.

"Did you shred him!" Kovu smiled, excitedly. "Nope, I gave him a warning to tell Simba," Kion replied. "Oh! Makes sense," Kovu nodded.

Rani walked out of her den. Kion's eyes widened, "I have to hide!" He looked around, and hid behind a boulder.

"Kion! I need you!" Rani shouted. "Kovu, have you seen him?" "Nope. Sorry," Kovu shrugged. Rani sighed and lifted her muzzle in the air.

"There he is!" She ran to the boulder and tackled Kion down. He groaned in annoyance.

"I thought you liked Rani, Kion," Kovu smirked. "Not when she's all over me," Kion said, pushing her off him.

"Okay fine. I'll give you some personal space," Rani smiled. Kion's eyes widened. He'd never seen her smile before. "What?" Rani asked. "Nothing," Kion smiled nervously.

Rani shrugged and walked away.

"I want to get to know her better. If I want her as a mate, then I'll have to know more about her," Kion said.

Kovu smirked at him. "Not in that way!" Kion shoved him, playfully. "Okay okay," Kovu laughed. "But whatever happened to, 'I don't like her'?"

"I'm not sure, Kovu. I'm all over the place right now," Kion sighed. Kovu nudged him, "Take all the time you need. Why don't you take her on a walk? That would be a good way to get to know her?"

"Kovu! You're a genius! I could kiss you! But that would be weird," Kion laughed. "It would," Kovu chuckled. "Now go on a walk with her."

Kion nodded and ran to Rani's den.
